I play every thing from very technical jazz/fusion to tap/slap/funk to reggae dub. I use a myriad of effects [all analog] and I am critical of my tone. This supplies my with all the features I require. The head of this combo is the Time traveler amp 330w. It has plenty of power, especially with an extension cab. The mid shift control is particularly useful in messing with frequencies. Its basic enough not to piss you off if you mess up your settings, but complex enough to span the spectrum of tonal possibilities. The ENHANCE knob is the shit. Trust me. I give it an 8 because it isnt as complex as the world series edition amps, but a contender for those of us who like it fairly simple on the amp side.

My fav bass is a 75 jazz. I also use a custom 5 string with emg 45dc's ran 18 volts. Both sing thru this amp. Dead quiet amp. Tone for days. Any tone you want out of this combo. Its LOUD for its size believe me. It will fill medium venues, and for larger you can go direct into the mains or bring an extension cab, but plenty loud for 85% of all shows.
This is a SOLID 10 on sound.

Id way do it again. I will probably always buy eden.
