I've owned this amp for a couple of years now. It's a small combo with a single 10" speaker. Unlike a lot of other small combos, it has an excellent, full function amplifier head built into it, delivering 220 watts to the internal speaker, or 330 watts with an 8 ohm extension cabinet. (I called Eden to find out if it can run at 2 ohms and they told me it could, but to make sure it was well ventilated.) Although it doesn't have a semi-parametric EQ like other Eden amps, it does have the helpful enhance knob. Also, the 3-band EQ section is useful, and the mid band can be switched between two predetermined frequencies using a push-button control. The amp has several other push-button controls for bass boost, treble boost, mute, "warm", high gain, DI pre/post EQ. There is a high quality DI with level control.
The amp is pretty small, and weighs around 40-42 pounds. It has a pop-up style handle on top (much more comfortable than a strap) and can be carried in one hand, although I'm not a huge guy and don't like to carry it one-handed very far if I don't have to. It's small for a bass amp, but 40 pounds is still 40 pounds. I usually carry it two handed, which makes me wish it had another handle on the bottom. Still, its small size makes it pretty easy to schlep around.

Despite having only one 10" speaker, this amp is capable of some big volume. A previous reviewer reported that it seemed quiet to them, and this was my initial experience too. I switched to this combo from a previous setup that used an Eden WT-400 head and a separate cabinet, and at first I thought I'd lost a lot of volume. But then I realized something: The amplifier in the CXC-110 has a gain button on it that many other amps (including the Eden WT-400) do not have, allowing you to increase the gain for solos, etc. It's a nice idea, but the side effect is that when you don't have it turned on, the amp is much quieter than it could be. In order to get the volume levels the amp is capable of this button needs to be pushed in. My bass doesn't have very high output, so I usually have the gain button depressed, AND the preamp set all the way up to about 3:00--at these settings I don't light up the clip indicator at all, but I do get PLENTY of volume. I play in a worship band with two guitars, keyboard, and drums, for a room of about 100 people, and never have to turn the master volume up past 9:00. For bigger settings I just add an Aguilar GS112 cabinet, and I have yet to run out of volume.
Otherwise, the amp has great tone. It is surprisingly deep sounding for a 1x10" in such a small box. I've used small cabinets before that just didn't seem to have much booty, but I never have that problem with this one. I use a 5-string and have yet to hear it fart out or anything. The sound seems very versatile to me. If you like you can also push the warm button, which adds a little bit of dynamic distortion when given enough input. Rock sounds and funk sounds both seem pretty easy to obtain with this amp.

This amp has been trustworthy and rugged throughout the time I've had it. I use it at last once a week, and am always carrying it around places, and it has held up well. I've yet to experience the amp fail in any way.
That's not to say that I haven't had any problems with it. The main issue to come up was a mysterious buzzing. I took it into the shop and it turned out to be coming from within the amp head itself. The top one of the components within the head was vibrating against the head's casing. A couple of pieces of foam tape solved the problem. Interestingly, the buzzing was only happening when the head was mounted in the combo amp. When removed it didn't have the problem--I guess it must have been due to resonance within the box. Anyway, the problem is fixed and doesn't happen any more.

I've called a couple of times and had no problem getting help from anybody. When I've asked for small parts they sent them to me without even charging me, and when I asked more technical questions about the amp I was put through to a knowledgable person within the factory. I

I've been playing for about 5 years now. I think this is a great little amp. Sometimes I wonder if I should go back to having a separate head and cabs, but I haven't decided. For the time being I'm quite happy with this amp and my extension cab. It's great for my purposes: a portable amp with versatile and quality tone, enough volume for most situations, and the ability to add an extension cab when desired.

This amp was made 2004. It is defenitly a verstile amp and suit my type of music. It is a one channel amp. It has an effect loop and headphone jack and direct output with levelcontrol and an XLR connector. I wish it had a sweep eq in the low register.
I have used it in a choier with about 60 singers and musicians.
I have also used it in a band with drums, electric guitar and keyboards.

I have used it with a Fender Jazz bass Highway one and use only finger style picking. It suits my style well but I wish it had a 12" driver instead. With the EQ on flat the amp is very quiet even in my home the amp is very quiet. Dont get me wrong!!!! This amp have a very warm and nice sound and defines the low register very well even better than the upper bass register. The EQs are very active and it happens a lot when you turn them. The best way is to start with the EQ knobs at flat and only add or subtract when you need. On higher volumes the 10" driver can sound a bit harsh even if it does not goes in bottom but hold down the bass level on the EQ and it work fine.

This amp i built like a tank and I would use it without a backup.
I have only tested it so I don't know in the long run how it works.

I have been playing guitar for about 20 years and switched over to bass the latest 5 years or so. I use a Nemesis NC210 combo that sound good also. If it were stolen I would buy another one.
I love the sound from it but it is a bit too small for me. I need a little bigger sound. I compared it to my NC210 combo. I tried this because I want a smaller unit to drag around.
