I have 2 CXM-112 bass cabinets.
I believe they were made around 2001.
The stock speaker is a coaxial (it has a horn in the dust cover) and a attenuater dial in the back. The cabinet is rated at 8-Ohms 200 watts.
the dimensions are different then most cabinets. Standing it is tall and narrow, although you can lay it on its side. The tone is warm and throaty. Some folks say it can't handle the low b of a 5 string, but i play four so I don't care about that. The cabinet is light ~35-37lbs. with big handles a breeze to move.

I play P-bass mostly fretless and some fretted. I have used a 100watt fender Tube head 1976. but now mainly use 50 watt fender bassman heads (I have 2 1968 heads; 1 is backup) I love the tone of the cabinet. I siwthced out speakers for Weber Michigans (8 ohm vintage sounding 100watt speakers) I hate those horns (harsh sounding). I think the cabinets when used in pairs have a warmer fuller sound than my bagend 210DB. I love having the abilty, to turn one of the speakers towards the drummer and one out towards the audience. You don't get real loud with these speakers, but that doens't matter if you are going for stage volume and tone. Besides every DIs now anyways to the mains.

This is where I have a problem:
I have had three of these cabinets total. in two of them the speaker went down (because of shipping???). Both of them had the same story, I took them out of the box and plug them in and it sounded HORRIBLE. For one of them I had to play a game of grab-ass with the music store I bought it from "Round-Rock Brook Mays" my advice is play beofre you pay with jokers like them. They refused to help me with the the speaker and told me to take it up with eden. Eden said they wanted 256.00 for a new speaker because brookmays didn't ship in the original box. That is when I bought the webers. I took it up with Visa and after 4 months, brook mays took the speaker back.
At that time I was so use to the sound I hunted another down off of ebay for a cheaper price.
The second one was an easier story, I contact the company and they refunded 1/2 my money to satisfy me.

I love the tone of the cabinet. However, the speakers on the other hand suck.
But with webers loaded in them they sound great.
I have a weber michigan 4ohm 12" (i bought it when I was only down to one cabinet for a while) i will put in another CXM-112 if I find one cheap on ebay.
