I Bought this cab 5 years ago in 2000 and it's seen constant use ever since both for live work and studio work. It has simple jack connectors and a knob on the back panel to adjust the horn. Simple features but extremely effective cab.

I've used three different amps with this cab over the years and it's outlasted them all. I've also used 3 basses including a Fender P Bass, G&L ASAT Bass and now a Modulus Flea and this Eden cab just lets the quality & tone of the bass shine through. With the tweeter knob turned to treble setting there is a hiss which is not too apparent although it's too much if the cab is being recorded in a studio for example. But if you back the treble off the cab sounds great with a lovely warm tone and plenty of bottom end which it can handle no problem without vibrating like a washing machine on full spin. This is probably partly to do with the build quality of it. It's made like a safe and is very heavy. When comparing my Eden cab to my Warwick cab The Warwick feels like it's made out of cardboard, also the handle fittings and corner joints are much better quality on the Eden cab.

In the 5 years i've had it i've blown one speaker cone, even then it still worked to get me through the rehearsal, just had a bit of distortion and a flapping sound to contend with.
Also i've had to buy 2 sets of castors after the rubber split on the first 2 sets. It's only a minor thing but at #20 a set they should last longer than a year or two.
Also i bought a New Eden WT500 amp with this cab and it kept cutting out all the time or overheating after an hour or so and after being in & out of the repair shop for close to a year they couldn't stop the problem from reoccuring, so had to exchange for a different brand. Apparently some of the Eden heads are prone to this fault. Be Aware!

I've never dealt with the company directly but the dealer i bought the cab from replaced the blown speaker cone under the warranty. They also only charged me half price for my second set of castors which was fair enough.

I've been playing bass Around 7 years i've played and broke cabs by trace elliott, fender, marshall, peavey, warwick, ashdown. The Eden cab is by far the best cab i've used both for reliability and sound quality which are the two main things for me. It makes it worth carrying the extra weight around. I decided to buy this cab due to seeing my favourite bass player at the time saying how good they were in an interview and also the dealer convinced me they were the best cabs around. At the time i was unemployed and the price was a stretch i wasn't sure i was willing to make but i'd say they are worth every penny. If it was stolen i'd probably try a Mesa Boogie or Gallien Krueger then after a month or so trade them in for another Eden after i'd realised my mistake.

I purchased this 8 ohm cab in 1992 and it's still going strong. I hook it up using a short 10 gauge speaker cable with platinum coated spade connecters to my rig. Like the others have said in here, this unit can push a lot of air and has never broken up or sounded harsh ever. I've considered getting a pair of 210s instead, but I just love the sound of it.

I'm using a Fender 70's Jazz reissue with Fender custom shop p.u.s. My power is a Hafler P4000 and pre is an Alembic F-2B. The sound is brilliantly organic, super tight lows, muscular, and clear as a bell. I've used several basses and amps through the cab and it faithfully reproduces the quality of whatevers plugged through it.
I think one reason why it sounds so good is the construction, it's built like a safe (and is very heavy!) and hardly vibrates at all during use. It's a very efficient cab in that regard. Overall I would say the sound is more musical and has a certain natural midrange grit, when compared to say an SWR 410. That's the best word I can find. I set the attenuator at about 10 o'clock for a nice balanced vintage tone.

Eden is a big company now so things have changed. I had an Eden amp at one time and had to send it for service. The support I received was unremarkable, not good, not bad. Pretty much par for the course.

I would definitely replace it if lost, no doubt about that. Best cabinet ever. EVER!

4x10 cabinet with rear port tube. Comfortable handles. Solid grill and corner bumpers. Heavy.
I've got an issue getting a dual bananna plug to clear the tweater knob, but removing the knob cover and inverting the bananna plug circumvents the issue. Sure i could get a new plug, but that would cost me a dollar or two. The fix cost me nothing (and doesn't compromise performance).

I've used this amp predominately with an swr basic 350 (the original) and an eden wt-600 amp. Both yield incredible results. I've even used an amp svp preamp (piped into either amp's power section) and been very very happy.
I actually demoed this speaker while checking out one of my basses after having some work done. I wasn't looking to get a cabinet, but i was blown away by the sound. I bought the cab a few days later. I actually got to a/b it with both a hartke and my existing 4x10. No contest, the 4x10t takes no prisoners. I have not experienced one cabinet that has caused that same reaction to date. If there is anything better out there, it is not by much.
I'm predominately a 4-stringer, and i'm not overly concerned about the frequencies below my instrument's range. If i was, 410xlt all the way. Regardless of the amp, i have never had a problem with not enough volume or low end with this cab. It cuts great through marshalls (midrange bass sounds), but also does some great scooped-mid funk.

This thing has been abused, and i've never had a problem. I have a few tweeter protection fuse/lights taped to the inside of my amp rack, and i haven't used one to this day. Its been pushed to the max, and like Oliver, it keeps asking "Can i have some more?"

I haven't dealt with their support directly, but i love my dealer. I enquired with my old dealer concerning amp modifications, and got a very appropriate answer back the next day. Still haven't dealt w/ the us music corp era eden, but my dealer is still on a first name basis with the team. The CS rating is potentially more for my dealer, so salt away.

I was an early adopter to the 4x10. This is the 3rd 4x10 i've owned, and will likely be the last (unless some miracle of technology comes up with something better). Beats bullfrog. beats hartke, beats swr, and actually beats the ampeg svts, imo. If something better came along, i'd replace the 4x10t in a second. It hasn't happened yet. I picked it because it made me appreciate both my basses and my playing in a way i hadn't before. I've never thought of replacing it, as i've had no reason to.
And, as a side story, i love the position of the handles. Right near the front of the cabinet. The uninitiated tend to think they aren't in the balance spot of the cab. The baskets and voice coils are massive enough to make the handle location ideal.

I should preface this by saying that this little cab has survived four years of constant abuse and has NEVER given me even the slightest issue. The sound is as crisp as the day I bought it, and it's always just a plug-and-go cab. More about all that later.
This is the littlest of the Eden 4x10's, with no top or bottom porting (the port is in the back). It's compact and fairly light for being a 4x10.
It's a speaker cabinet, so there's not much to talk about here, but it does have a really nice attenuator for the tweeter. I run mine at only about 30%, because that's one POWERFUL tweeter.
In terms of inputs, the cab has one set of banana cable inputs (which are the only way to harness the full bridged output of the Eden heads) and two 1/4" jacks.
I would like to see Eden put out a model with Speakons, but I haven't really had a problem with the 1/4's and bananas yet.

I've been a bassist for 12 years, and worked at guitar retail stores all the way up -- I don't give 10's unless I think the product is perfect. For a little cabinet like this, I have never heard anything close.
The sound is at once both warm and full, and the first thing I noticed about it is this "low end support" that it gives. If you run this side-by-side with just about any other company's cabinets, you'll notice that it puts out a very full, very thick low end, so that every note supports the band better. Nearly every show I play, I get compliments about the sound and support of my sound. Guitarists and drummers LOVE it when I use this lil' cab.
It can get clanky or it can get very warm, so it's great from anything to early Incubus-style slap to jazz warmth to hip-hop low-end oomph. The one thought is that it doesn't bark like Ampegs at high volume, so if you like to push your gear till it starts to break up a bit, you'll likely go deaf before these cabs do that.

I can honestly say that I've never, ever had to think about this cab. It's been dropped, thrown, kicked and damn near beaten, yet it sounds amazing every single time, and has never let me down in any capacity. Even the carpeting still looks great.

For all the sound options you have and all the years you can use it, there's really no comparison in my mind. For a small powerhouse that sounds crystal clean night after night, pick one of these up.
