Basic features, common to an amp of this price range. What I like: Includes 3 rotary EQs, but also includes an "enhanced" EQ button, which does VERY nice job removing those annoying mids, while pushing the lo and highs - Almost like the SVT hi-lo sound we all love. Also has a line out, which may be useful if you use this for a stage monitor. And has a ext speaker jack - I stuck a 15" cab under and it improves the sound, especially the volume and lo end - It won't keep up with is real loud drummer, but for lighter applications it's fine.

I've use it with everything - it's fine with active, passive, fretless, acoustic - uhhh, 5-string . . . some minor issues if you try to push the volume too high. BUT, i'm VERY pleased with how it handles my 3/4 upright - i have 2 inexpensive under-bridge piezos on it, and this amp makes it sound beautiful. No issues with the low-boomy feedback you get from a larger speaker. I've used it for bluegrass, jazz (w/ drummer), blues, and acoustic folk - I really like it for these applications.

If you use it as a practice amp, it's a 10+. If you use it as I do for acoustic/lighter applications, I'd go a 8 - I'm sure there are better acoustic rigs, but for the money, this has a very nice sound. If you try to push it for much more than that, I'm afraid you'll be disappointed. Oh yeah, i did the same thing the fellow did below - take a few minutes and go over every screw on the amp - i got it used and it did have a few buzzes/rattles until I did that.

simple, basic, easy to use. The addition of aux imput is useful as a practice amp.

Surprising. Ignore the comments about practice amp only. Been using it on cafe and small venue gigs and have found that running it at 2/3 volume produces plenty of sound. Good spread and freq range too. Using with vintage fender's and is saving me some serious lugging.

Pro bassist. 25 years exp. This is a good product folks. Looking through options for light , portable combo's and this has proved itself well. If reliabilty / customer support were good I would rate this around 8.

This is a practice amp, anything under 150 watts (solid state) is a practice amp, and to expect anything more would be foolish. So this is a perspective review. There is a usefull EQ, a compressor that is quite (very cool if going thru a sound board. The enhancement knob is more useful than any other I have seen in this price range.
CD inputs to be fair have not used them. For the price paid bottomline, there are others that come with more frills, I have not found any that were really useful or actually made the amp sound better except maybe the ampeg ba115, which in my mind makes them useless and just something else I paid for that I will never use. The quite compressor and a enhancement knob that works makes this better than anything else I've tried in this price range.

I play an Ibanez bass, with active electronics. (9V not 18 or 24)
To start, my first priority is tone and sound spectrum coverage. This amp got a nine only because of the very bottom end being soft, its there but the 2X8 configuration doesn't quite match the very bottom to the top at full volume. That is the only complaint. This amp has great tone and good volume for 120 watts. Considering that it sounds good all the way up, NEVER muddy. I have heard amps louder with around the same wattage rating, they sound muddy, thunky, or like crap. This amp sounds like you would expect an Eden to sound like, just a 120 watts worth instead of 600.
The ampeg BA115 if the tweeter would have been quiter or if it would have had the pure clarity this amp does (too muddy for me) It would have been a close race but it lost. H & K, crate, fender, line 6, ampeg and behringer were all given their chance. None sounded like the EDEN. Some had better bottom end (12's and 15's they should) not by as much as you would think, but all of them had a degree of mud that I just don't like. Muddy sound is easy, you can make anything sound muddy, clean and clear, that's rare.
Line 6 makes a good paperweight, behringer maybe in a couple more years (they have improved a great deal), fender (they call it rumble for a reason) bassman amps much better wrong price range and still not as clean.
The ampeg BA115 came the closest.
EDEN does build a 1X12 model for about the same price that has a little more bottom end, in the end it was the only other amp I even thought about considering.

Have Had no Problems. Going with a nine Mine is still under the 2 year mark. Can't call it a ten just have not had it long enough to say that.

This may bring this review a little more perspective. I am a sound man and have been for more than 2 decades. I also play guitar (bass, electric, and acoustic).
I don't like muddy sound, if you can't clean it up at the instrument the sound man can't fix it either and that is what it will sound like to everyone. The cleaner the sound the crisper the sound the easier it will cut thru a mix to a point(not quite that simple). The more volume you can get out of it. Clean and clear helps everything; mudd, rumble instead of tight bass, and a clear well shaped high end that balances with the bottom end is rare. The best bass guitars are often times ruined by the amp you choose. This amp for the money and the intended use is the best sounding I have heard.

Made in 2006, Very versatile amp good for:
slap, funk, pop, love songs and softies,(modern) but also for jazz, Fusion, and other styles.
Ok but less for blues and heavy rock styles (probably won't be loud enough).
2channels amp, 1 input per channel, effectsloop and headphones.
I wished it had some internal effects.
I tested this amp in the local shop where I go testing lots of amps and basses. It is a great amp, pretty loud, but barely enough power for band play.
It has an enhance button, 3bands EQ, pad compressor and speaker on/off switch.

I used two basses on it, but due my testing of tonns of basses I can easely say which amp is good, and which one is not.
I am a rear pickup player (bridge), and used a Status-like bass (with graphite neck) sounded AWESOME!!. And used a dean with double humbucker. this amp made any bass sound better!
It has lots of bite, and enough deep for a 4 string.
Only minus is the bass EQ goes downto 45-60Hz, and the lowest deep sound can not be raised by the EQ. I would have wanted this amp to have little more deep sound, and something more like 200W of power.
It is due to it's 2x8" very growly, wonderfull lowmids, good lows, and nice brights. A very 'attack' kind of driver (not muddy sounding at all!!)
In my setting I could open the gain almost all the way. It surprised me how far I could go on this one!
Because of soundquality, and the loudness which this amp produced, and because that surprised me I gave it a 9

It's not really a GIG amp! But a practice amp.
Advised would be to add one, or 2 x 2ohms cabs, since it has serial connection, not parallel ext. speaker connection.
This amp is very recent. I don't think it'll break down very easely.

Nemesis Silverseries has been created as a mid-class branch of Eden, which has very good customer support! (see www.eden-electronics.com)
Standard 2-3 years warranty. Most Eden products I have seen last 5 years being abused, and if taken well care for, last 25 years or more.

I've been more busy with finding my right gear, then really playing. Own some markbass gear, some Ibanez, some Fender, Toby bass, etc...
If my current gear would be stolen, I would seriously consider buying this amp for a practice amp.
