Features : 10
Basic features. Very cool how you can adjust the tone for each speaker, useful if you're running differnt cabs.

Sound Quality : 10
I'm very happy with this. It is extremely clean and powerful. I have a Navigator WP 100 pre-amp and the combo is heaven. I'm running this beast mono-bridged and its more power than I'll need for a long long long time.

Reliability : 10
Well built, Eden quality, no complaints here.

Customer Support : 10
Eden is first class in terms of customer care. Very helpful company. Check out their user forums on the website if you have questions.

This amp was made in 2003. I purchased it new around 6 months ago. It's just a power amp so the features are pretty basic. Two channels with levels and "tone balance" controls. There are buttons to select stereo, mono, or bridged. I run this amp with the WP100 Navigator pre-amp, (see my review on that). I use two 4X10 Eden XST cabinets. I play heavy melodic rock music. I am completely unhappy with this amp. My band is a power trio and we play loud. This amp clips constantly and "farts" a lot. My guitar player is a sound engineer at a local studio and he has given up on this unit. As I said I use it with the WP100 Eden Navigator pre-amp. Maybe it's a combination of the two together, but this amp is weak! At low volumes, no problem but if you want huge sound, look elsewhere.

I use a Roscoe SKB 300g with 18 volt Bartolini pre-amp and Bartolini pick ups. I also have a Ken Smith Black Tiget Elite, and a Spector NS5XL USA neck through. Killer basses that all just kick ass, some differently than others. Heavy melodic rock all the way. This amp hisses like 1,000 pissed off snakes, it's obscene how loud it is at upper levels. I'll put it this way between tunes everyone wonders where the storm came in from. I don't really have any distortion problems.

Reliability : 9
The amp has been completely reliable so far but it hasn't seen any abuse at all and I've only owned it for 6 months.

I called the company twice to discuss the lack of power and the loud hissing. They were, well let's just say not bending over backwards to listen to my concerns. I think they know that problems exist in these specific areas but don't want to fess up. The dealer (Bass Central in Florida) was actually very helpful, much more than the manufacturer. They pretty much elt me know that what I was experiencing was "normal". The warranrt is two years.

I have been playing bass for 30 years. I own an SWR 750X amp in addition to my Eden gear. Please someone steal my Eden amp so I can travel that long road to hopefully discover the turn off that will lead me to the ultimate loud bass amp. Ampeg classic SVT? Maybe after reading these reviews. I've never used one.
