The VL210B Model has 2 x 10 inch speakers, 2 x 5 1/4 inch mid range speakers and a tweeter. On the rear of the cabinet there are two large dials that you can customize your midrange and tweeter frequencies. The physical size of the cabinet and weight roughly at 70 lbs is surprisingly easy to handle compared to others I?ve worked with. One down side is how EA positioned the wholes for the coasters. On traditional bass cabinets the coasters will by fairly flush on all corners. The VL210 has the two coasters on the rear at the corner level, but the front coasters are pitched in which makes this cabinet susceptible to toppling over if you are not careful. If you stand in front of the VL210 at tap the rear moderately you better be prepared to catch the cabinet from the front. I called the company to discuss this a little further and they agreed it was a flaw in the design and further explained it also had to do with the physical placements of the cones and housing material. The only options I see are to remove the coasters every time you setup or place a wooden wedge in front on the cabinet for support. I can?t believe they did this on purpose. The cabinet is also rated at 4 ohm which I requested because I wanted more power handling capability.

I am using the VL210 with one of the original SWR SM-900 heads now ten + years old. At first I ran my cable to just the left side and after playing it awhile I noticed I had to really push the master volume and other settings to get something out of it. I called EA and spoke with one of the Tech/Designers and gave him my specs and he strongly suggested running the amp in bridge mode. Yes you heard right! A whopping 900 watts running into a 500 watt rated cabinet. I said what about the warranty? He said this cabinet loves power and can easily handle over a 1000 watts. So I took it to the bridge and wow! This thing just opened up big time clean, deep, focused. Of course I had to turn the master volume down, but this puppy showed no strain and the cones were not moving as if they were going to disintegrate. They hardly moved at all. I started turning up the master volume and again the cones stayed right on and the sound just knocked me back. Like the gentleman who preceded me below stated I too also have EDEN 410 XLT & the 210 XLT and I love the sounds that it produces, but this is something total different. My SM-900 allows control over 6 concentric parametric dials and turning up the bass end almost to max I expected the cabinet to start distorting especially on the ?B? string, but on the contrary it was like it looked at me and said ?Is that all you got!? This cabinet is smaller and the cones have been treated with a poly type product that makes it very ridged, but yet have the ability to produce a wide bandwidth that has very little coloration.

Reliability : 10
This cabinet is rock solid with the exception of the coaster problem. I don?t think I?ll have too much trouble as long as I support the front end. They have started making a less expensive series that will be available within the next week or so which they say will be lighter, and more powerful than their current series. If the new stuff takes of they may or may not continue making the VL series.

So far, whenever I have called there office I have always gotten through and or someone has called me back. The warranty is for three years.

For its size and power handling capability this is definitely one of the great cabinets of our time. As for the overall sound and tone flexibility it is only limited by your amp specs. This guy really does like a lot of power so keep that in mind if you are considering a purchase or wait until the new gear hits the store. I understand they will only be in 8 ohm configuration, but louder and more powerful than the VL series.

Euphonic Audio is new to the Bass Cabinet market. I have not heard too much from others who have purchased this product. If they were not one of the newer companies I would state that there would be more cabinets seen along side of many of todays bassist. The Bass cabinet I am referring to is the VL210B Model. It has 2 10 inch speakers (woofers), 2 - 5 1/4 inch mid range speakers and a tweeter. It states its a 500 watt cabinet but, it is power hungry so for clean head room, I would play it with as much power as possible. It has sort of a kick stand which tilts it slightly upward if you want. It is made well and seems it can take a beating. I only have it for a few days but the few gigs I have done with it so far, it is beyond my expectations.

Sound Quality : 10
This Cabinet has more power to it than most 4 10 cabinets. It is beyond belief. It is extremely tight in the lower registers and sweet on the upper. Its the best cabinet for its size. I have the Eden 410 XLT and I believe the EA is tighter and cleaner. The sound that comes out of this small cabinet is amazing. You won't believe what you hear.
You can get a well rounded bottom tone and it will sound clean. No mud. I love this cabinet. I feel bad saying this with my Eden looking over my shoulder. But you should try it in a store and you will know what I mean. I play a 5 string and the low B is tight and focused.

Reliability : 10
Again I only have it for a few days but believe me I have been working with this cabinet and it would be hard trying to get a bad tone. It is built well and it is checked for all possible flaws (It will show a form where the employee of the company check all area's of this cabinet. So the company is very serious about there work.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Never had a conversation with yet so I have no opinion.

10. Again I have not had it longer than 2 days but for 2 gigs this little cabinet made many friends. I just had to write about it eventhough its a new cabinet but, I am so extremely happy with this product. I recommend this cabinet yet I would suggest trying it before you buy. But after you try it and look at the price tag you will look into a second job to get the money to buy it. Its a great buy but most stores sell it for 875 to 999.99. But it is still by far worth the price. It will have all the tones you are looking for. It is a very tight and fat sounding, all at the same time. A very reliable and great sounding cabinet. I am surprised I have not seen more of them.
