6x10" speakers in a large-ish cab. I can't comment much further about features. It is the backline at the Continental Club in Austin, TX and is paired there with a Fender TB-600 Pro.

I have used this cabinet twice. I plugged a Franken-bass (Warmouth P-Bass body with J-Bass bridge pickup, G&L SB-1 neck, and Seymour Duncan Quarter-Pound Bass Lines pickups) in to this rig and was more than impressed by the sheer mass of the sound, and then had a case of the vapors when I got it up to gig speed. The growl that came out of the bass rig has me considering a duplicate rig to own.
I had very little time to tweak the TB600 but the amp was already set up well enough to make a joyous noise with the 610 Pro.
Interestingly, the headliner's bassist used his own amp, the 610 Pro, and an upright acoustic bass. From an audience perspective the rig sounded fantastic. Very balanced across the sound spectrum and his bass sounded like an acoustic instrumet. The sound was full and detailed.
The Continental is not a large club and this cabinet absolutely fills the room without any help from the PA.

I rate this an 8 because this bad boy is expensive. It is made in Mexico and those cheap labor costs should hold the price down a little better. Rated for sound it is a 10. I really would like to own one. Someone commented on the excellent bass tones after our set. Never have had that happen before, maybe they were just being nice, but the cab does sound good.

Ive owned quite a few cabs over the years, and this is one of my favorites for many reasons.... 6 ten inchers, an adjustable horn, biggish rubber wheels, a diamond kick plate, skid rails that run the entire length of the back, metal corners all around so the bottom edges dont get ripped up, and tilt back handles AND flip out handles on the bottom as well as a tough tolex. Handles up to 1600 watts. The only thing i dont like is that it is a little oversized for what it is.. a few inches wider and deeper than an ampeg 610 (but more durable and better sounding) so its less accomodating to some vehicles, which kinda flies against the portability advantage of a 610 IMO. they are made in mexico if youre wondering.

so this part is why Im writing a review. I knew that the construction of this would be great as fender is prone to do on pro line models. But i couldnt find one to try before i bought it to hear one, so i had to trust it would be good and ordered one. i couldnt find a single review of one anywhere ... The sound quality of this, much to my great satisfaction, is nothing short of superb!! i wanted this model cos i have the fender 300 pro (which is the most amazing bass amp on the market in my long search if youre a tube guy).. and if you have one you know the head is a bit oversized too and it looked a bit weird on top of my ampeg cab, not to mention that it made me nervous since it looked to be sitting a bit precariously on it due to its size.
The sound of this is very rounded and pleasing with no discernable hot spots to my ears. In the past i have had a number of cabs.
-an ampeg 610 and found it to be a bit too breathy with mass but no punch... it was wooly and deep, but felt a little thin.. unlike the radiating power of the 810
- a mesa 610 that was just way to honky in the mids
- ampeg 410hlf that had the same complaint as the 610
-ampeg 410 hes.. the 500 watt versions... these i loved for their clarity and driving punch... but with some heads i felt i was fighting the ampeg mid bias on them... (thats the same spectrum that gives em the clarity and punch and it works GREAT with an ampeg head on em.. but not alot of others IMO)
- and Ashdown 1-15s, 210s and 410s.. all of which i love, but are suited for more classic sounds than heavy rock which i play.
i mostly play heavy noise/stoner/punk/doom with a touch of psychedelic ambience.. and this hangs in there beautifully!.. very full and driving, but can be quite clean, noiseless with a pleasing low end, as well as a brialliant high end... Mids are easily made to suit in my experience.. I have used it with the Fender 300, an Ashdown ABM EVO II, an Ampeg SVT 450H, and an Ampeg V4BH.. and could quickly and easily get the tone i wanted.
I play at LOUD VOLUMES for long sets, and i have yet to have any speakers give me any hint of fatique. THIS IS BEAST!!! its a perfect match to a perfect head if you ask me...
BTW.. i AM NOT usually a fender fan when it comes to bass gear.. but MY GOD have they scored a winner with the PRO cabs and PRO tube heads!!!!

as far as stand alone cabs that can handle ANYTHING i throw at it.. this is it.... very satisfied.!!!... paid $1100 for it, which i thought was a little much.. but i blame it more on the declining value of the dollar more than anything... but it was worth it to mate it with its fated partner head.... WHAT A COMBINATION!!!
