When I bought this amp three years ago I was the happiest bassist in the world. I was playin a motown type show and a Fusion Rock gig at the same time and it was perfect for both. The 9 band eq was perfect for dialin in my sound even between songs and the Chorus was perfect for my Jaco stuff.

I use a fender Jazz fretless and a Yamaha fretted. There are 3 tone boosts that are handy..especially the Notch for slapping.
As I said i was teh happist bassist..for a while..I'm a versitile player and I change musical styles often...I started playing in a swing band and the sound was all wrong...especially when I got my upright suited with a pickup..it was VERY wrong. This is striclty an electric bass amp...it doesn't cut it for upright. So then it sat in my back room gathering dust and I sold it a year later. I'm in the market for something more versitile..I think a SWR Workingman's 15

This amp is rock solid..always performs. Except after I dropped it and it landed on hard on the pavement. But it only cost me $40 to fix it..rattled a circuit off the board. Works perfectly now. Wish I could keep it but it's too expensive to have all the amps I want.

I've had troubles with fender Warranty...I live in Canada..maybe that's why..or maybe it was the music store I bought it from and that guy who had NOOOOO clue! ARRRGGG!!

I've been playing for 10 years and this is a great electric bass amp. I LOVE the sound.
Needs a ground switch. The D.I. in the back buzzes sometimes.
