This is my 1st and only amp. I've had it for about 1 year and a half it says it's made in 2007 the same year I bought it.

The 'thing' has 3 channels and with some tweaking you can get Slipknot (Heavy Metal), StainD (Hard Rock), The Misfits (Punk) and even Kelly Clarkson or Shakira (Pop) sounds. Mainly though I keep a nice medium which is mainly with the VOLUME on halfway, the BASS knob on full blast, the MID knob on atleast 3/4's and the TREBLE knob on at 3/3rd's the way. That way all you need to do is just turn a knob just a slight turn or two to get the sound I want.

The only feature I wish that it had was a limiter to prevent me from blowing the speaker or tweeter because I just know with the way I play (With a Pick, aggressivly) that someday I'll blow them either both at once or just one at a time.

The 'thing' has the features it says on Fender's website. So look it up for more info.

Mainly for practicing at home this is a real keeper.

I have to say with this amp my Yamaha RBX170 (W/ P and J pickups)
sounds great it has the perfect thump and great mids to punch you in the gut when soloing on the E string.

The amp is actually great for my style. Basically my style is well I guess it's hard to explain in words but, basically it's me using punk root notes and adding the to the metal genre. It's not thrash (though I do play it) it's totally different.

My setting are explained above.

The amp is very much a genre bender but, then again an amp is just an amp until you play it. Because just like you have to make the bass play the way you want it. You have to make the amp sound the way you want it. So really every amp is versatile if you know how to work it.

Though I love this amp and it's great for what I do (Recording and practicing) it would not do great live as it's 15 watts and a bass amp should be atleast 3x louder then the guitar palyers amp.

I haven't dealt with Fender nor do I want too.

(Once again) I've been playing around 1 year and a half it's my first bass amp and it's very good at what I use it for.
Is it good for what I need it for? Yes.
Is it good for what I want it for? Yes.
Do I want another if I lost it or someone stole it? NO.

First of all I never wanted this amp I really wanted a Crate 15 watter but, unfortuanetly the store was out so I had to make do.
Personally someday I will get that Crate 15 watter and sell this one.

Finally to end this I'd like to point out to beginners:
You will not find a better amp under $150.00 this is a great amp.
In time you'll grow accustomed to it and with that knowledge you'll be better prepared in buying a REAL amp because you'll know what works for you and what you can make work for you.

I got this amp in December 2005, as part of a Squire (Indonesian Fender) P-bass starter pack. My bro-in-law got the bass and I kept the amp. The EQ and volume don't do much. It plays about as loudly at 5 as it does at 10. It does have a CD-in (red and white inputs) that allows you to play along with a CD or just listen to one if you don't have speakers. I've never used that and CDs are almost obsolete, so I don't know how useful it would be. I don't have an iPod but maybe you could hook that up to it as well. Also has a headphone jack to keep parents, neighbors or roommates happy.

It's a 15w practice amp. Keep that in mind. Is plenty loud for playing alone and the sound is pretty consistent. It's cute that it has bass, mid and treble EQ knobs but don't think they'll allow you to shape your sound much. I've played along with a guitar (also on a small amp) and drums in my living room and the Rumble 15 just barely keeps up at max volume. The sound is consistent though.

I've had mine 2 1/2 years and it looks and sounds as good as it did when I took it out of the box. Although, I haven't traveled with it much and I haven't dropped it yet.

I've been playing bass for about 15 years and this is a perfectly acceptable practice amp. I've even gigged with it in a small coffee shop along with a couple of acoustic guitars. So, it's not that bad. It's sturdy and is small and lightweight so that it's easy to move around and doesn't take up much space. Personally, I don't have much use for an amp this size anymore. But as far as amps in this size and price range go, this is a pretty solid choice.

2004 Model, 15 watt solid state amp with an 8 inch speaker. 3-band EQ. Headphone out, RCA Aux in. This is a bottom-of-the-barrel Fender amplifier, folks.

Sound Quality : 8
This was my very first bass amp. This is a cheap 15 watt amp, so don't expect it to sound amazing. This is for practicing, and it's perfect for that. This bass amp really showed me the difference between a bass amp and a guitar amp (I was a guitar player/bass player at the time) and introduced me to a mid scoop, which I use extensively. With the volume 1/3rd of the way up to full blast, there is very little difference in volume. My low E and B strings tend to make the amp distort if I play them open with the bass cranked. I'd give it a 10 if the amp wouldn't fart out all the time. This amp does sound incredible with brand-new strings. When bass strings begin to fart out, so does the amp. Perfect for what it is, though.

This isn't for gigging. This isn't for rehearsing. This is for quietly practicing by yourself. Everything is fine, but I've broken off 2 of the knobs on separate occasions. I consider myself to be a careful person, but the knobs kept breaking. Crazy glue fixed everything (be careful not to glue the knob stiff). Would have been much higher if the knobs hadn't broken.

I bought this brand spanking new for $30! It was EXACTLY what I wanted. It's a perfect little practice amp. If you're looking for anything other than that, you'll be disappointed.

I have a Fender Bassman 250 combo for my 'real' amp. I also used an Epiphone practice bass amp, and it was terrible. This bass amp really does have some legit bottom end.

Look at the official site.
For bass, it doesn't have many features, but since it's a practice amp, it's okay. No line-out which would be good for gigs, but again it's a practice amp so it's not too bad.

Hey, you can always mic it.

Sound Quality : 9
It sounds really good for a small bass amp. I actually thought the tone on this thing was great.

Reliability : 10
Solid-state, so it shouldn't be a problem.

It's a good practice amp. There's more than enough volume to jam at home with a friend unless you're into metal.

2005 built. This is a small practise amp. 15watts of power and a eight inch speaker. It is better then most other amps of its type and is plenty loud enough to get the neighbours visiting. It has basic eq and one imput, head phone out and cd in. It is is only 15-14-10 inches so is tiny. You could carry this for miles as it only weighs 20 pounds!

If you have to take you bass on holiday with you or in my case let the mother in law know if I have to visit this comes too, this amp makes a perfect traveling companion.

Sound Quality : 8
I use mainly my Ibanez SRX 400 with this amp. It is my sit on the sofa and play the bass amp. I use a Warwick Blue Cab 30 for serious practice with my Fender Jazz. It sounds good and perhaps suits the Ibanez's Humbuckler sounds more then the Fender's subtler sounds.

Reliability : 1
First one started rumbling, ironcly, the second time I used it. I have no idea what caused it to fail.

Hoping this one does better.

Customer Support : 5
I took it back to my local guitar shop that changed it quickly and with the minimum of fuss; there again I am 6 foot 3inches tall and weight 170kg so people tend to be really nice!

I am a beginner so am perhaps the not the most qualifed to comment on such things. I own a Mex Fender Jazz, the wonderful Ibanez SRX 400 in the very rare green colour. I am due pick up a Mex Fender Pecision next week.

I would not buy one again if it dies again. I think I will move my sublime Warwick Blue cab 30 next to the TV and get something bigger for my practice room. If you cannot streach to the Warwick or are buying an amp for a child then I would go for this amp. It did beat the dozen or so other small amps I listened to by a mile. A class leader as long as
