The amp was made in 2006-2007. The amp is able to cover all styles of music I play from country, to blues, to reggae. The amp has one channel, an effects loop. I does not have a headphone jack. I have used the amp to practice and at live shows weekly. This is a solid state amp with more than enough power.

I use a Fodera emperor, Fender Jazz & Precision basses the fender pickups are stock and the fodera has bartolini's. This amp sounds good in all situations It has the sound GK has been known for.

The amp worked perfect for 1 and a half years. At that time I had to replace the input jack. It then worked good for a few months. Since then the sound has been dropping out suddenly and intermitently. My warranty is up. I have an older GK that has been dropped numerous times and left out in the rain and has performed flawlessly since 1982 so Im disappointed in this amp. I have bought a mark bass little bass III as a backup. I think I'm going to get the GK fixed and sell it.

I have been playing 28 years and have used GK almost exclusively. I love the sound and the power and I have to have an amp that works all the time. Sorry GK I won't be buying another GK product till I start hearing good things about them again. The sound is still there but I need an amp that works every time.
