The cab is a dual ported chamber, and is superbly built, the handles are awkward at times, and it's heavy it could use some casters.

Very good when everything is working properly, a very bright and clean sounding cabinet.

The cabinet itself is solid as a safe. The speakers that come in it, on the other hand, eh..not so much. I've owned this cabinet since February of 2008, and have had two sets of the GL-10's self destruct on me. The first set, separated the cone from the voice coil, resulting in a loud metal to metal clanking noise, the new replacements we're blown when I got home with it resulting in them replacing the entire cabinet with a new one. That was 6 months and and now this began to have distortion, and gradually got worse and worse until they quit entirely, whats worse, is this time it happened, right after my original one year warranty ran out, so now I have an old set of 10" subs from my car audio days I installed..I'm very displeased with the reliability of the goldline 10" speakers. I don't even trigger my Backline 600's overload circuit, so I'm not over powering them.. I wont be buying anymore GK cabinets anytime soon.

When my first set of speakers blew, it took over a month to get replacements, and they we're blown too from the moment I picked them up from the service center, they rattled.
So the store where I originally purchased the cabinet, offered to exchange the whole cabinet for a brand new one, so I wouldn't have to wait another month.
That was 6 months ago, and here I am with another set of blown speakers.

If I had this to do all over again, I'd have saved my money for Ampeg or something much more reliable.

This box has plenty of high and plenty of low in it as well. I am running a GK Backline 600 head through it with a Backline BLX115 cab too. Sounds great paired with the 15 or all by itself. The GLX 210 sounds really good with my Fender 5 string jazz bass. Handles the B string really well. The B string actuslly sounds pretty good just played open with this box. Usually sound a bit muddy otherwise. This box puts out a lot of sound with a good head run through it. I was very impressed with the sound! Definitely worth the extra money for this box over the BLX210 if you're playing a 5 string bass. Warm low end and good high end. No need for a horn in this box!

I expect this box to be very reliable. Appears to be well built.

I was just pleasantly surprised at the great sound I get out of this box. I think I should have bought 2 of these together instead of the 15 I have. Not that the 15 isn't good. Anyways, this box is kinda heavy, but it would beat toting around a 4x10 or larger box any day. GK is making really good stuff for the money in my opinion. Definitely try this box out!
