This is a late 60's rebel bass head with the stinger option. This amp despite being a bass head was preferred by guitarists over the Rebel guitar heads. THe stinger is an extremely rare option on a rebel, especially a bass rebel. THe stinger is an all tube distortion/overdrive effect built into the amp. It is operated on the amp or by a foot switch. THis was Bachman Turner Overdrive used on American Woman. The amp has a push/pull volume knob for a boost and has a trebble and bass knob. It has two inputs. No reverb, no tremelo. Point to point hand wired. Simple and sweet.

Fantastic sound, absolutely the best. The Garnets were made in canada and are much better and harder to find than Traynors. It is perfect for rock. Over drives naturally and sounds warm, fat and glassy. This is only around 20 watts, but it is very loud and can easily be used for club sized venues. This amp is sent from the gods.

Great, I have had small 20 watt marshalls and fender princeton reverbs and deluxes and this whips all of them---to shreds. This amp is so cool and if i find another, I will buy it!
