I have a GB 410-XB from the early/mid 90's and I LOVE it. I've played in Jam Bands, Hip Hop Groups, Hard Rock and I'm currently in a blues/rock thing. I've run straight tone and used lots of different floor pedals and the GB 410-XB handles everything with ease.

I play an American Fender Jazz and I use an Ampeg SVT 3-Pro. The SVT is pretty straight forward without a lot of effects. There's lots of head room in the cabinet. It's rated at 500 watts @ 4ohms. The SVT puts out 450 watts @ 4ohms and I never feel like I'm pushing the cabinet but some of the low tones can get a little fuzzy if I push the amp all the way. Big Low End but still has lots of power and punch on the higher strings. My SVT has a pretty dramatic spectrum of options for mids and the cab puts out all of them plus it has a dedicated control knob for the horn to give you even more versatility. Great tone handling all the way around.

I bought mine second hand from a heavy metal guy who really gave it a beating. I fixed it up and I've never had a problem with it since. It's built like a brick s**t-house. My only complaint is that it's about 100# and I have the older version without casters. Roadcases get a bit pricey on those specs but after you play enough shows you realize that you can't put a premium on wheels.

A++++ Service. As I mentioned, I bought this cab second hand from a heavy metal guy who showed no mercy to it. I emailed the info address on the Genz Benz website asking for help getting it working properly and within 30 minutes Jeff Genzler, the founder of the company, responded. He gave me his direct phone extension and worked with me on troubleshooting the cabinet. Jeff and his staff really put a lot of time into helping me fix up a second hand cabinet. They were awesome.

I've been playing for about 15 years and I love this cabinet in spite of the weight. If it were stolen I would get another one...especially since they come with casters these days. The 410 is PLENTY for large clubs. I might move into a 610 if I found myself doing a lot of large theater work but I still think I'd stick with Genz Benz.

This cab is great! It seems pretty versatile to me but i think alot of that has to do with your head, and your bass. I have a Genz 400 head and a Fender American Deluxe Jazz. I play this with my church in a gym everyweek and it was able to cut through anything else on that stage. One of the really cool features is that you have a Horn Control knob on that back.

Again as mentioned before im play this with a Fender American Jazz Deluxe and our style is kinda traditional rock / alternitive / pop and whatever else we feel like that day. lol.

Can I depend on it? Heck ya! this thing is built like a tank. if my car broke down i could probably ride this thing home if it had some nicer wheels. lol. I would deffinatley use this at a gig without a back up not only cause i dont have a back up but becuase i wouldnt feel a need for one.

I havent needed support on this but i can tell you that i sent an email to the company today requesting info about a slip on cover for this cab, and i recieved an email like 10 minutes later from the founder of Genz Benz himself. I was impressed and my question was answered.

I have been playing for about 5 years, and if this was stolen not only would i be upset but i would locate and buy the next one as soon as humanly possible and as soon as i could come up with the money. If i was gonna buy something else i might up to the 610 but more then likley i wont have need for that.

Mine is one of the originals from around 1993 or 94 I believe. No casters on the old ones, 4 custom designed 10's and four huge ports across the bottom facing front (where you want it live). It has a large horn tweeter thats adjustable to what ever level you desire, plus the cabs have a unique look about them. The speakers are mounted in very heavy duty cabs, that have a white faced mounting board behind the grills...very cool looking. Handles all my effects without flaw. I give it a 9 because I would rather have gotten one of the new ones with the kick back casters...this thing is a bear!

I am currently running this with its 2x10 twin as the top cab...and let me tell you...wow. I have played and owned Eden, Gallien Krueger, SWR, Mesa, Trace Elliot, and Ampeg...and the only one fit to compare is the old school Eden sound. I have not owned any of the new US Music Corp eden stuff, just the pre washburn era high end eden equipment. This GB cab sounds very similar to the Eden 410XLT, BIG bottom, way more than you would expect from a set of 10s. This baby even puts out more bottom than the ole refrigerator Ampeg 8x10. Even for all that bottom, it still stays punchy and warm, and is capable of a shit load of volume. I run this cab and the matching 2x10 off of my SVT-4Pro, and I can actually over power both my Marshall full stack weilding guitar players. Toen is flexible and perfect, volume is phenom, little to no noise through these either...great sounding cabs...and I am very picky!

Well I started out with a complete GK setup. A 4x10 rbs and 1x15 rbh. sounded like crap. After getting the new MO' BASS and replacing the GK 4x10 with this sucker..What a difference. I started with just the genz benz, and I could have just left it like that..The sucker handled lows better than any 15 and the highs were shattering my ear drums. I ended up keeping the fifteen cause the 4x10 is easier to sell. Plus it does add some more low end. Together these shake the walls. Infact that is how I judge my gear..How much stuff can fall of the walls?? well with this 4x10 You might want to watch your house..I might be shaking stuff off of your walls soon.

Great speaker cabinet. bought it new for about $700 and is totally worth every cent. I was using a Peavey 4x15 & 1x15 cabinets. But I like this much better. It's power handling is great and can take out whatever you dish out, as long as your within wattage. The tweeter is good at mid-levels. Good round sounds all the way down. At 95 lbs it is a bit heavy though, but it does have kick back casters, making is very easy to move on flat ground. up stairs though.... not really

Where most speakers clip and pop, this cab will just give more and more. I use a Warwick Thumb Bolt-on 5-String and an Ampeg STV III Pro. Sounds so sweet. I don't see myself using any other cabinets for a hell of a long time

My friend turned me on to this and other than a few scratches from extensive travel, his has lasted at least 2 or more years. The warranty is great, I'm not sure exactly what it is. But I doubt you'd need to worry about it breaking any time. Let the singer jump off this thing...

I've been playing for 4 years and this cab completes my pro-level equipment. If it were stolen, I'd buy another one no doubt. It's available in 4 ohm & 8. I'd get an 8, so I could use another 8 ohm cab with it.
