This amp is versatile. My main band performs 60's,70's R&B, Funk, Soul and Latin Rock.I just bought it and immediatley gave it a trial by fire.I used it on stage at an outdoor festival where there were 3500 people.Of course We all know that the sound system at the event carried the load, but You still have to consider a bunch of musicians on a big stage, outdoors with all their adrenaline pumping and volume to boot. For a 90 watt amp, it came though like a champ.I really like the fact that it tilts back like a monitor. That really comes in handy when Your playing in cramp qaurters and dont want the sound just blowing past Your pant legs.Another thing about this amp that makes Me happy is that My back fells so much better. I've been lugging big cabinets with separate power heads around all My musical career(23 years). It does have a headphone jack and you can actually
plug in a Cd or tape player to woodshed with, but I do wish it had an effects loop.Because it doesn't have a effects loop I have to take off a couple points in the features. At the outdoor gig, the sound company used the direct out on the back of the amp and didn't report any problems. As a matter of fact, I was wireless and checked out the sound out front. It was fat and I was a happy camper.

I use two stock Fender P Basses. A 4 & a 5 string.I'm mainly a finger player but ten percent of the time I'm slapping. You have to be carefull of the E.Q. because it has a bullet tweeter along with the 15. I've had to turn the mid high and high knobs to 11 o'clock to make it work for Me.I was getting that clicky sound before I backed off on mid/highs.As far as the sound in general, I'm really happy.I'm not sure why, but I especially like the sound when I'm playing with a blues band.Go figure! So far I've been putting the volume knob at about 12 o'clock and that seems to be working for Me.It's a four band E.Q. consisting of Low, Low Mid,Mid High and High. If your in a band that really likes to pump up the volume on stage like heavy metal. Well, this amps not for You. If Your a working muscian that likes a good sounding amp that doesn't make Your arm stretch to the ground while your loading in at the gig, then this is a cool amp to check out.

Reliability : No Opinion
I havn't had this amp even a month, so I'm not qualified to say whether it's reliable or not.I feel that at it's price it was a better gamble than others.I'll write back to this site if I have any problems with this amp. I'm curious if any body has used this amp with a stand up bass. I'll bet it would be good for that.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Since I havn't had any problems with this amp I don't know about their customer service. How long is the warranty? Uh, where's that warrenty card, I know its somewhere.

Overall Rating : 8
Considering that this amp is the type that works for My musical situation, I give it a 8 overall. If I was playing in a really loud band, this would not be My choice. If I feel that I really need to crank it up I'll use My Hartke 7000 with 4 X 10 Hartke Cab and 15 Mesa Boogie bottom. One of the main considerations I had was to be able to carry My amp in one hand and My axe in the other.
