Most things have been told. More you don`t need for playing!
You can switch the DI-Out pre/post the EQ, which also is switchable.
I don`t need any more features on this amp!

If you look for an amp with own sound, you are wrong with this one. This amp gives you a clear, deep and loud sound. This amp has only one problem: you hear the sound of YOUR bassguitar. So if your bass don??t sound, you will hear it. I??ve played this amp with G&L 1000, Fender Jazz and precicion, Warwick Streamer 2, Esh Sovereign and others, all good bases but totaly different sounds. As I said before, you here YOUR bass!! The 400 Watts RMS at 4 ohm are very loud, and the amp is absolutly quiet, no van, no humm, no hiss!!
The frequency controlls are in the range where have to work, and they work very effectiv and are easely to handle. Even working with line- or DI-out can not be better.

This amp let your bass make the sound!! So you can love him or hate him because you nedd new basses!! Absolutly prfessional eqippment, not cheap, but it is worth every buck you spend for this.

The model I have is an older one and the HeartCore has since been discontinued. It has extremely versatile effects loops (yes, 2!) and a headphone out - in addition to all the basics. This amp is one of the highest quality amps I have ever seen and the guy who checked it out was simply amazed by the build quality.
I play mostly contemporary Christian, Gospel, funk, and rock stuff and this has plenty of power for what I do (400 watts into 4 ohms).

I've had a lot of different players try it out and the REALLY nice thing about the amp is that I have never heard it make a bass sound bad - the basses have ranged from a 63 Jazz stack-knob to very modern stuff. I almost never use eq for any of my basses (Ken Lawrence Brase, MTD 535, Sadowsky 24-5, Lakland 55-94) with this head - most of the others I have used have required tweaking to make them sound good.
This is the quietest amp I have ever seen - cooling is passive and when you max both the gain and the master you just hear a little hiss - try that with a SWR, Eden, Aguilar, Epifani...
At times I really push the head and have installed a switched cooling fan in my rack, although there have been no issues without it - just trying to protect nice gear.

This has never needed maintenance - when I bought the head it had funky european speaker outs that looked like big XLR connectors and I had them changed to speakons.

Even though this head has been discontinued Glockenklang still provides support. I e-mailed them to ask if a copy of the manual was available - they sent it the next day - basically, as soon as they opened. You cannot beat that!

I've been playing for about 8 years now and have gone through a LOT of gear (nice to have a great job and a wife that likes to spoil you!). I'm currently using it with a Bergantino NV 610 but had used it with an Epifani 2x12 - both cabs are GREAT with it. Since I have never seen another HeartCore for sale I would have to buy a Bass Art head if this one were stolen.
