Aluminum cones ROCK. I love the quick response they give. I have played Hartke for YEARS and NEVER have I ever considered playing anything else. Even at high volumes they maintain the crisp mids and highs that these cabs are synonymous with.
Reliability

I wouldn't even consider giging without these babies... well, unless I had my HYDRIVES!!! Which I am getting on the 11th. Without HARTKE I wouldn't consider playing a gig. My sound is so reliant on them.

I also have a 215 Cabinet and I needed to repair it, and new speakers were sent immediatly. This company is first class all the way. Never before have I ever ran across a company who tuely cared about its customers as Hartke does.

I have been playing bass 24 years Playing Hartke 17 years. As I said, I have a 215 xl and I am getting the hhydrives July 11, and I used to own the transient attacks (which were awesome) as well as the 115 xl seires. If it were stolen heck yeah I would replace it, as soon as I took it out of the arse of the one who stole it. Especially since the 215 are no longer made. the 4.5 is an awesome cab and I would definetley buy it if you have an opportunity to. You will NOY be sorry. Trust me, I have tried the rest, I play the best
