4 aluminium cones in a 88 lbs 4x10" cab that delivers 400 W @ 8 ohms.
Handles. No casters.
Except the aluminium cones that are part of the Hartke trademark, this is what one can basically a "very standard 4x10 cab".

My main bass is a Music Man SUB 5, which is basically a REAL StingRay with the extra B String.
It does not fit my musical style at all, since I love the low-mids growl and this cab only has crisp highs and muddy lows. Its rating at 30 Hz sounds simply like a lie.
Coupled with the Hartke 5500 head, it is unable to give me the tone I'm after, and the rig almost have no more power than my current rig : Ashdown MAG300R + Ashdown MAG210T cab.
That's a cab for funkslap people, and only for them IMHO.

Can't say about reliabilty. The metal grill on the front side makes me believe it's a solid cab for the road.

More expensive than an Ashdown MAG410T cab (which is a similar product), it delivers way less headroom and sits only in the crispy highs zone. People who expect a Hartke cab (or amp) to be versatile enough to fit all your needs are going the wrong way.
The cab and the head are going back to the shop. So I'll never be able to tell what I'll do in case of loss or steal.
After this experience, I really plan to upgrade my Ashdown MAG300R to the MAG600R version, and either add a second MAG210T cab or replace mine with a MAG410T.

Not too many features considering all you need is an input plug and a parrallel plug to use another cab with it. Parallel input (one in, one out), 4x10 subs dual chamber, one port for each chamber, my cab is a little old, so it has the handles that pop out, black carpet, metal grille, plastic corner covers, the works.

Once again, this is just a cab, what ever you plug into it, is what you get! My cab has some Pyle competition subs with about 80 oz. magnets, so mine is a little different.... I use a 5 string Samick with active pickups, and a Crate b150 head. With the Pyles, this thing can handle anything you throw at it. The origional subs were pretty good frequency wise, but they had small power limits. The orig. cab can handle the low B, but not at high volumes; especially playing slap, or even just plucking. Sounds really good through my solid state, just remember- what you plug into it is what kind of performance you get out of it.

Built very well, and surprisingly light. With the handles that pop out, they are liable to break, but the new ones have the recessed handles, your super duper! Carpet gets scuffed pretty easy, but hey! its carpet!

Never dealt with the company, and probably never will because if I break that cab, it will be with a sledge or falling out of the back of a truck or something.

I have been playing for about 2 years. If it were lost or stolen, then I would cry because I got a really good deal on this. $179 with comp Pyles! hooray! I would probably try find another good deal or an empty cabinet and get some cheapo subs because I am a cheapo. I shop at cheapo depot. Anyways, if you find a good deal on this, get it! Really good frequency range, pretty good power handling, great sound, very light(!) and will last.
