made in 2008 This cab is the fusion of Hartke's aluminum and paper cones. I play Christian rock / metal and this baby sings. It can handle the 1000 watts that my lh 1000 throws at it. It also has a horn which I love. A switch on the back allows you to control the high frequency. Larry Hartke has really done it this time.

I use Dean razor std with active j pickups and dean demonator4 with active soapbar eq pickups. This cab is quiet as a mouse when I am not playing. The lows are low and the highs are awesome, the mids are outstanding - what else have we come to expect from HARTKE? I have used HARTKE for close to 20 years and I must admit the hydrives are all the hype they are cracked up to be.

I have only had this cab for a few days, but I know that it will last for a long time. Oh yeah, I can tell you this - You guys will probably agree with me. I get tired of guitar players having light equipment to carry leaving us bass players to carry stuff that weighs a ton. Well these hydrives are light. I believe this cab is like 50 lbs. NOT BAD.... the sound is AWESOME did I mention that?

I have dealt with HARTKE and they are awesome to deal with their customer support is 2nd to none. I have a 215 xl series cab and it needed speakers. they shipped them - I got them within 3 days and within a week they were calling me asking me if I had recieved them. A week later, I get another phone call making sure I was satisfied. The warranty I believe is 3 years, and it is my belief that they stand behind their products.

I have been playing bass over 20 years I own the Hartke LH1000 amp, the LX series 215, and 4.5 cabs, the Hydrive 410 and the hydrive 115. I love the frequency switch in the back, because I play alot of mids and highs. When shopping for cabs, there really (for me) is nothing to compare with because I have been playing Hartke for so long. I really do not like the sound of anything else BUT Hartke.
