I've probably had this amp about a year now. Single channel(clean), solid state, 10w, headphone jack, just about everything you could ask for of a good practice amp. I actually got this amp from the guitar center in Canton Michigan used when I bought my Gibson SG. They zero'd it out for me since it had been there for some time and since I was on vacation I just needed an amp to play the guitar through since I hadn't brung anything from home. Strangely though when coupled with a light overdrive such as the Digitech BadMonkey, it can be used as a GREAT recording amp for guitars. While it does sound good with a bass, I use it primarily for my guitar when I don't feel like lugging in my main amp or I need a bit more treble for my sound(due to it's smaller speaker). Also, I usually play all my amps with all EQ's set to 5.

Awsome as a "top boost" amp for guitar. It really suites my needs for classic rock and metal but I would say for cleaner sounds another amp with a little more actual bass response would be needed. Nearly no noise but I usually keep the volume at about 4 since it's usually my recording amp for lead's. Without and pedals juicing the front end it's pretty bland as far as just a simple clean sound. But if you know how to use it this thing can get loud. Once again, there is NO other amp I would use during recording for my leads other than this at the moment.

Pretty reliable as long as you don't try to kill the thing. I highly doubt it will see much road abuse since it's primary use is as a practice amp. BUT if you have access to a good ISO-box and a channel on the P.A. system, I would seriously consider trying it out at a gig.

Never had any problems with the amp, no warranty since it was used either.

I've played about 5 years and own quite a few other amps but I just keep comming back to this amp when my mains just keep squeezing too much bass for my taste. If it were stolen I'd be pretty mad. But I wouldn't break my back trying to find it again. Hopefully I could find another. One of my favorite things about it besides its tone is how small and light it is. For those of you who just hate lugging around those behemoth marshalls or mesa's and just need a good amp to practice with this would be a great sounding and cheap soloution(especially if you can talk down the price pretty low or even get it for free)

I bought it for a small recording Bass amp. What supprised me was when I plugged my electric guitar w/sd invader pick-ups. Very touch responsive for a transistor amp of any size. Very clean, and if you have a distortion box it's great for detuned Metal practice. Sounds better than any other 10watt transister amp I've heard.

So far so good. Only had it a short time. I've used it hard with a six string guitar and it still plays clean for Bass.

Been playing both classical and Metal guitar for 15 years. I have a carvin stack, peavey classic 20, crate VS508, 10 guitars and a few toy's. I compared this amp with a pignose Hog 30. The Hog is a little louder but sounds too sterile in comparison. Seems well built. Light weight. I would buy it again for the price.
