This bass has 2 10" speakers, with 600 watts of power. 9 band EQ and a switch for either passive or active electronics. It has a tweater that can be turned off, and is a very versatile combo. It is also narrow and tall, which is great for small stages. It has everything I need, and I use it to practice with my band and to gig with. It is VERY powerful.

Sound is solid, with all the lows and mids I like for my short scale Waterstone basses. I play pop and 50s rock and this is perfect. I have played a Modulus Q5 bass through it and it handled the low B easily. This bass does not distort, it is PLENTY loud with lots of headroom. My drummer is a HEAVY hitter, and I am using about 25% of this combo. Any higher and he says I am blowing him and our guitarist out!! Which is kinda cool, since I have always stuggled to be heard. No more!!

So far it is reliable. I would gig with it, and it has never broken down. It is a bit heavy, so have someone around to help you lift it.

I have had this amp for about a year. I also own an Ampeg B200R combo I use for small gigs. I would buy another if lost or stolen. I love how this bass combo sounds, I can dial in any tone I want. I play a Waterstone Indra 30" scale bass with a pick, and I like a thumpy, bass-y tone for 50s and 60s type music. I get it from this amp. I tried other combos, but this one just sounded and felt right. I really love this combo, and my band members do too, which is good!
