Kustom KBA-100 115 Combo

if you are reading this, you know what it has. So I will comment on what it has. It has digital effects. I don't use them. I can't tell you if they are good. All you need to remember is a clean bass is a happy bass. I will give this a 5 because it has everything I need but I don't care about the extras.

I am using a Yahama 4 string fretless with Seymour Duncan Qtr-Pounders. I am running through Zoom 708 with the gain set about about half way. This amp only has one channel. Clean. And holy cow is it loud. L. O. U. D. loud. Anyway that is in a basement. Was having some problems with telling the difference between the lower tones, so I played with the variable cut off and cleared that up. Would play a medium to small club or bar. It holds it's own with some Mediumish PA systems. Remember this does not have any tens so it won't have any punch, just thunder with the 15. I am going to give this a 7. It deserves a 10 for the price. Shoot, it deserves a 11. But when I sit down at the instrument store in front of the Hartke 3500 with 4 tens, and a 15. Sorry, that is a 9. An Ampeg set is a 10.

Can't speak to that. Seems rugged. Would rather have metal corner covers instead of the plastic that it has. Knobs are kinda cheap. I would gig without a backup. But come on, who carries two amps. One is heavy enough. Seems sturdy enough to gig with. I am giving this an 8 for the reasons above.

I've been playing for about 8 years now. Since I was about as tall as a bass. My other bass amp was a crate 15w. Just didn't have the volume. Needed something for clubs to hold me over till I get a Hartke transporter set. Next spring/summer sometime. This thing is probably the best value I have seen. I had to read a lot of reviews for this price range and wattage. The rogue seems ok. The behringer seem good too. This was better. Way better. This is the same as the sound. I would give it a 9 or 10 for the price. But overall, it will sit at a 7. Still good for the cost.

Used with a cheapo Samick 5 string, but sounds excellent. Very versatile. Sounds great with any style of music. This amp is very quiet at any setting, even with a single coil pickup. It is also very loud. I crank the volume up all the way all the time and put in some ear plugs just for fun. It has no distotion at all. All the effects are pretty good too.

Never had any problems with it in two years. It's bulletproof.

Never had to call them.

I've been playing for over 7 years, and have an assortment of equipment. If it was stollen I would buy another. It's great value for money, and it's really tough. You could easily pay twice as much for half as much amp from ampeg, Hatke or the likes.

this amp has 1 x 15", 100 watts, 6 band active EQ, 8 built in effects, the only thing i needed with it was a footswitch.

i use an ibanez soundgear, and a warwick streamer STD into a big muff and i can get the phatest sound possible, good for slap, pick or fingers.

this amp plays good but it isn't the most reliable, it has cut out when playing and it takes a while for sound to come out of the amp after you turn it on. plus the effects don't always work

i've been playing for 2 1/2 years and this is my first bass amp, my previous amp was a 15watt squier guitar amp and it was shit and i blew it up. if this amp were stolen i'd get a fender or ampeg or somthing like that, but it was good value for the money
