One 15" Celestion Speaker which is beautiful for the low end. This amp is great for the stuff I play, being jazz, blues, classic rock and metal. A buddy used it for some funk and he loved it. The eight-band equalizer with a frequency notch was a godsend for tone shaping. This amp has a tonne of power, just be careful if you use lots of effects as it may overload the preamp. The eight built-in effects I find pretty useless cause I just use my overdrive and crybaby wah with a compressor. The only thing I wish this amp had was a headphone jack!!! The effects loops is good, but i don't have enough cords, yet.

I use an LTD B-55 and a Feder Jazz Standard both of which sound great. The eq allows me to shape the tone in anyway I need, but I usually just leave the eq on my own settings so I its sounds the way I want. I've got every kind of tone I wanted out of this amp, however, you might want to invest in a compressor cause the 15" driver doesn't always articulate the higher notes too well but it does the trick most of the time.

This amp is very dependable if you're not constantly overloading the preamp (like me). I wouldn't gig with it cause I like a loud onstange monitor, but I have used it in conjunction with another smaller amp on stage and it was great. I've never head a problem with this beast.

I've been playing for half a decade and this amp is great. If it were lost or stolen I'd probably upgrade to a head and cabinet cause of the volume I like to have, but I plan on holding onto this amp for a long time cause it is great. My only gripe is the built-in limiter that shuts down the preamp if it overloads, but I guess its better than wrecking the thing.

20-Watt solid state bass amp with 4-band EQ (awesome for a practice amp), headphone jack, and external speaker jack.

Sounds OK. 4-band EQ works great but some frets are distorted when bass is turned up past 1/2. The frets that are distorted change depending upon how much bass is turned up and more bass equals more distorted frets. Never used the external speaker of headphone jacks. Can get very noisy depending upon the angle at which I hold my bass.

Pretty decent as a practice amp, but I don't think I'd buy this one again if I could travel back in time to when I needed a practice amp.

1997 Model has very limited features but external speaker jack and 4-band equalizer is nice. Has a headphone jack. Not suitable for anything but practice but when at max was almost good enough to play in a ska band. Solid state, 20w RMS 40w max

Using it with a Fernandes bass with factory pickups (passive). Suits practicing ska and jazz fine. Very nice sound when low on a 4-string, but a little bright and punchy up high. Distortion is minimal and only when the volume AND the EQs are up all the way.

Never broken in any way shape or form. This amp is a rock. It can take extreme amounts of abuse. Steel corners, protective front, solid plastic knobs.

Best practice amp I've seen but if you like to practice at extremely high volumes, it's not for you.
