This amp came out in 1991, it provides a great versatility of sounds, the parametric and graphic EQ actually work, the other controls are useful also, it has 3 effects loops. I use this amp at my band practices and also for small gigs, the 150w is slightly limiting and i wouldn't want to play it in a large venue. But good solid state amp.

I can get anything from smooth juicy jazz, to full out hardcore metal, i play somewhere between that normally with a mex jazz bass and the range of sounds is great. It doesnt make much noise considering how old it is and distorts very little, even with the volume and gain both on ten and the Amp Clip warning light flashing like a bitch.

I have had this amp 4 months and it hasnt let me down yet, is fairly knackered in appearance as a i bought it second hand but is solidly built. Only real issue is that the damn thing rattles so i have to put a big bit of foam between it and my cab.

Never tried to get it repaired, but did download the manual for it off the website.

I've only been playing 3 years, but am a born audiophile and am very picky about my sounds. I play it with a Mex Jazz bass as i said and a Homemade cab, very good one at that. Sounds great, good range of features, robust definately worth the money i paid for it on ebay. ??60, bargain.

I dont know when that was built. But I would like to know!!!...something about it...It's an 150 watts bass head into 4ohms
with;preshape, parametric eq,11 band equalizer, limiter, well everything you need to make your bass sounds good .I think it's not delivering what it's suppose to but it's maybe 20 years old....I used it preamp and poweramp knob almost at 10 and it keeps going ,the heat sink is getting hot but the inside stays warm.

Good... not much noise for the age of it .I gave it hard times with some bleusy slapy poppy funky groovy riffs thru an Ampeg BXT115HL4 damn loud speaker and I'm pretty satisfied.I play with a drummer a two guitar players and I'm the one that shake the place up.

Secondhand amp, that's been fixed quite often, I can say it because the board is quite burned (copper path)by soldering.NOT SURE I WOULD CARRY IT ON TOUR!!!

No custumer support in canada(almost nothing)I tryed to fix it miself but ther is some (NE571N)chip you cannot find for the rest of it, anything is easilyfound in any electronic replacement part dealer (that is the good point)
