London City LCB-150 115 Combo

Made in China, 2005.
Solid State, 150 Watts @ 8 Ohms ( 200 Watts @ 4 Ohms ), 15" Speaker, piezo tweeter.
Front: passive/active inputs, Gain, Shape (push-pull flat boost), Master, compressor on/off switch, Ratio knob, 7-band graphic eq with on/off switch, headphones, power on/off switch.
Back: mains connector, balanced XLR line output, extension speaker out, cooling fan.

This amp gives me plenty of low end, good sweet mids, and not to harsh highs, great for rehearsal and small to medium size venues.
Even with the eq off, there`s a good basic sound, very easy to get your sound on this amp.
The only thing i don`t like is the compressor, because even the slightest setting is too extreme for my taste. But i don`t need compression on this bass amp, it can deliver, it doesn`t crap out at high volumes.
I play R&B, Funk, Fusion, Salsa, and so on, it`s perfect for me.

I own this amplifier now for a week, tested a demo model in my band during rehearsal, pushed it to the limit, liked it a lot, was sold.
It is build like a brick, good carrying handles, nice tolex upholstery, good quality electronics ( i`m a tech, i now my components ).
I don`t know a single reason why this amp would fail when normally used.

I never dealt with them, so no opinion.

I`ve been playing music for about 25 years, played a lot of luxury brands like SWR, EBS, H&K, Trace Elliot, Mesa Boogie, Ampeg, etc.
All of these are great amps, but this ( in my eyes ) cheap amplifier is great also.
London City is a Brand name from Holland, built in China, where other well known brands are made, i fell for the looks, color, and sound, and the not so hefty price tag.
If it were stolen, i would buy it again for sure.
