This is the 2006 model LMK by Mark bass. It packs a woppin' 500-watts of solid state power into a tiny portable box that weighs only 6lbs!!!
Im in a few various styles of bands ranging from Sack Sabbath (Black Sabbath tribute), Station (Motown/Soul), Escape (Death Metal) and this amp delivers EVERYTHING I want. It has the deep rumblings with slight highs for the metal and rock and then with a quick change of the VLE it becomes the ultimate soul bass sound! I have used the amp for around 15 gigs now also.
The EQ is pretty simple but very effective with :
LOW
MID-LOW
MID-HIGH
HIGH
VPF - Scoops Mid - adds bass/treb without messing your sound up
VLE - takes a lot of the high end out but without making it sound flat. Gives it a rich warm tone.
I have both channels set quite different with one being very deep with loads of VPF (which scoops mid and adds bass/treb) to get a good rock sound and then Ch2 for a very mid/treb Jaco sound.
I really wish it had a mute button and a headphone socket but they are not a neccessity, just a wish.
I use this amp from small venues to assembly 500+ size halls and I've never had it past the 9'o clock mark as the drummer often moans its far to loud! To say its only 100 watts more power then my previous Warwick Pro Fet IV amp, it just seems to deliver the power with far more balls.

I use the LMK with a Markbass 210 and 115 and its very crisp and clear. I cannot comment what it would sound like with other cabs but I am guessing it would be pretty good! When practicing at home and when I turn the tweeter volume up it can get a tiny bit hissy but it can be easily cut out by EQ and turning it down without loosing the crisps highs (strange but true)
I currently am using a Warwick Corvette Jazzman with Delano pickups and I've finally got MY sound that I've wanted. I've used everything from Trace Elliot, Ampeg, Hartke and Ashdowns and it beats them hands down in every respect. Ampeg has the name and rockstar appeal but when you are playing and carrying your own equipment at 2am its the nicest feeling to simply put this amp in its bag and on your back.
It is a very varied amp to say it has what seems a small EQ section at first. Once you have spent some time seeing what can do what, you will have the sound YOU want, for me this was the case anyway.
The channels have a really high clip range and with gain set to around 1/2 o'clock it didnt clip and with master set to around 9'o clock it will literally shake the walls.
I have yet to hear a bad word from other bass players using my equipment either!!!

I have been playing for around seven years now (Im 21) and I have owned Trace Elliot, Peavey and Warwick amps and played on nearly everything else (including Mesa and Eden) and this is the best thing I've played yet.
I use no effects with most of my acts apart from Sack Sabbath when I use a Boss Distortion pedal for one song and it sounds great.
I love the weight, power and looks of this amp, especially when someone turns up with a huge SVT and the LMK beats it hands down. The look on their faces is priceless.
Overall its a great amp thats light and portable with masses of power. I wish it had a mute and headphones (because its so bloody loud) for night time practice. Other then that its probably the best investment I've made!
I cant wait to gig it more and more in the future!
