Bought this second hand in 2004, I guess it was about a year old. I originally played it as a top cab for a monster Peavey 1 x 18" which had fantastic bottom, but was a nightmare to transport. This is fantastically light and sounds fine - if I want more bass I get it from the PA.
Hardly ever use the tweeter adjustment. 400 W is plenty powerful - sounds great with my Rickie and P-bass powered either by an Ashdown MAG or a Hartke 2000.

Fine for really anything, though it is worth cutting the EQ a little at about 180-220 to get the best sound out of the cab. Play indie/punk - can go very loud (is 400W rated, but I only ever use a 200W head). Loses one for the slight boom at 200Hz but that's more than compensated for by portability.

Very light, I sometimes worry but it's never failed me yet. Seems quite sturdy. The -1 is probably just my neurosis...

Never had any contact with MarkBass but as they're in Italy don;t anticipate it being easy... but the Bass Cellar in Denmark St London stocks their products so at least I know where to take it...

Playing bass in one form or another for 32 years (!) play a Rickie 4003 and a P-bass with 20-year old Dimarzios. Also play a Tele and a Hollowbody which I've put thru a H&K head into this cab to very poor effect - it really is just a bass cab - not suitable for guitar.
The best thing about this is the size and weight compared to the power rating and tone. Can;t be beat, but it don't come cheap...

This is a compact 2x10 from Italien Company Markbass.
2 10" neodynium drivers and piezo tweeter.
There is a tweeter control on the side of the box (very smart idea)
Rated at 400W and is rear ported.
Has both Speakeon and 1/4 inch Inputs and is made of very sturdy birch.
Weighs 33 lbs!

Firstly this is one very loud and balsy 2x10 cabinet.
The drivers are very efficient and meaty and can handles loads of power.
Now there are some problems with using such a small box. I play this with a 4 string and haven't tried a low B on it yet but this box doesn't go quite as deep as other high quality boxes out there. Specifically comparing to the front ported and bigger markbass 2x10 which goes deeper and just seemed to projects those really low frequencies more.
Now that isn't to say that this cabinet doesn't have a booty, it surely does but not as much as can be expected from say a 8x10, it is only 2 speakers afterall.
I also find that this cabinet has a distinct low mid hump, this isn't really a bad thing but i find myself cutting the low mids on my amp a wee bit to compensate.
Overall it is a very meaty, natural, and surprisingly loud small cabinet.

Very solidly built and haven't been able to fart out the speakers yet.
Only owned for 4 months and never really push it.

For those who don't mind carrying a slightly bigger box I'd completely recommend getting the bigger front ported markbass cabinet which is louder and goes lower. But for folks like myself who don't own a car and of slightly smaller build this cabinet is perfect! Powered by a markbass little mark 2 head it easily cuts through 2 guitars and a loud drummer for band practice and makes for a great stage monitor on PA supported gigs.
I am extremely happy with this product, compared to other cabinets in its price range it sits on top in my opinion.
