This is where it is tricky...
IT booms and rattles way too much. I think the port was made before computer design, so the standing waves distort the sound. I eventuall sealed up the port and lined the cabinet R-25 acoustic insulation. NOW IT SOUNDS GREAT

I have the matching Marshall 3150 100 watt head to this cabinet. Together they produce some serious "sound". I was about to sell it but I liked the way it looked with the head so I just sealed up the port and now am very happy with it. If i could i would find another one and do the same...

Well, not many features because its a speaker cabinet, a bass cabinet as a matter of fact. Its loaded with an Celestion Sidewinder 15 rated at 250 watts RMS. I'm running a Marshall 3520 Integrated Bass Systems head through two of these.

I'm using a Fender USA Jazz bass with stock pickups and though I'm mainly a guitarist, I like to fool around with the bass when I'm bored with the guitar or just feel like rattling the walls. This cab sure will rattle some walls!! I took both of these cabs to rehearsal one night and asked our bassist if he would mind playing through them. He hooked up his Gallien Krueger 700RB and we started playing, man this rig was LOUD!! I was impressed because he usually uses two Aguilar 1x12s but these things blew them away in terms of loudness and bottom end. Sure, the Aggies were more hi-fi sounding and had a certain tone these didnt but for old school rock, you wont find much better. They didnt fart out, hung right in there and I had to ask him to trun his rig away from me.

These cabs are made of 100% birch ply including the back. The only thing I can see happening to them is the speakers being blown but I doubt that as Celestions seem to be underated in the power department. They are covered in your typical black Marshall tolex as well as the plastic corners and black grill cloth.

Marshall U.K. I give a 10. Korg/Marshall, they wouldnt give me the time of day so I just call Marshall U.K. direct if I have a problem and I always get prompt service. Forget Korg, go to the source.

Been playing guitar 20 plus years and bass for 4 years. I actually wanted to play bass after being turned onto Kiss but couldnt afford a bass on a paper route salary. I wouldnt replace these cabs with any other bass cab. They sound great, look great and have that killer logo on them.
