i just got my marshall 600 bass amp.it is late 80s to early 90s and was a part of the 25/50 silver jubilee series. it is very clear with 600 watt the head room is endless. although with seperate gain controls and multiple bass mid and treble adjustments it is easy to dial in great bass tone. the only feature i do not use on this amp is the effects loop. i play my american p bass through it and an ampeg classic 8x10 cabinet and must say this head sounds much better than my ampeg 350 head. the clarity of this amp is great and not to mention how often do you see these. i will buy the next one i come across this is an amazing amp!

clear but could be dirty if desired. mostly rock played on a p bass with a pick. it runs quiet and does basically what you would want a bass amp to do. it also stays clean till it is very cranked but some of the dirt is the speakers in my cab. the distortion is very subtle and is avoidable i will never need to play that loud.

just got it but will start playing shows right away. its a marshall it should be tough. it is rackmount but came in a gray tolex case matching the silver jubilee series. i have full faith in this head.

from what i understand marshall is great to deal with. finding any info on this amp on-line is pointless it is not there! i will have to order a schematic from marshall in the future.warranty i am sure is long gone.

best bass amp owned yet. i am very glad i gave it a shot. i am currently in love with it and could actually start a whole collection of these they are sooooooo overlooked. currently looking for more of these amps!
