Working from memory!Purchased 1985 for $499.00. 2-15" Celestions. Two 1/4" jacks on back. Awesome build quality but large and heavy. I had this cab with Marshall's 200 watt s/s head and within two weeks bought a second 2-15" cab to match. This was not because one cab would not cover my hard rock band's needs, I just wanted the all important Marshall "full stack." This set up was a beast and would literally knock items off walls, getting me into trouble. The stack would have shattered the house windows but I kept the volume at 2 or less. Nice Tolex covering with castors and castor cups on top. Awesome quality for $500.00.

Sounded thick and heavy. But, with amp adjustments could get the brighter fret clacking sounds of the almighty, Steve Harris.

Reliability : 10
Had cabs for approximately two years with weekly practice and accasional gigs. Never an issue!

I had played less than a month with an actual band when I decided to look like I knew what I was doing before I actually did. Therefore, Marshall was where I went. Fit the 80's metal, popular at the time and I looked good in front of it. It helped me sound like a pro although I was far from it. Although transporting the cabs was a major job, I loved them once they were set up. You will need a van or truck. No car will do. I would use them again if I could find one but with age, I have wised up and would power them with AMPEG!

i believe it was the early 80's but im not sure. its a mono 2x15 solid cabinet. like the 1961 cabs except using larger speakers. VERY CLEAN HEAVY SOUNDING AMP. meant for that straight out blasting bass sound.

Sound Quality : 8
Very chunky sounding, but tight at the same time. not meant for those who dont like vibrating shelves, or porches.

Reliability : 10
this thing is so old, has been gigged countless times, and the tolex hasnt even scratched on it. Built by the best. ive had mesa cabs in road cases that have had worse marks on it with less amout of abuse. never had any sound problems, this is meant to be played LOUD! this thing is definately worth it just for that.

Customer Support : 10
one of the wheels was missing when i bought it, marshall told me many places i could find original parts as well as replacements that will work fine enough without the specific "MARSHALL" quality.

Overall Rating : 10
been playin for about 6 years, and have been playing a new rig every 4 months give or take. and this cab is definately one i would cry over if lost, stolen or mis-happenings. if you can find this amp at a low price, JUMP ON IT. even if its beat up, it'll still sound great.
