Small 1x12 Neo cab, 300 watts, 8 ohms.I was in a music store and someone returned a Mesa M-Pulse 600 with 2 of these littles beauties...I was getting real tired of heavy cabs when you gig 2-4 times a week in an urban life style ( small car, no parking or loading space...) I thaught I'd give it a try...WOW!! the first test drive was with an R&B band with B-3 + full horn section. The sound was TIGHT, FAT, CLEAR and everything else I wanted...It is exactly what I was looking for! I use it now in all size venues.

I love the sound. The bass always remains very tight. It is also super punchy, even when I use only one, but since it is so small, I'm always using both.I also love the versatility of the back panel option. You can really change the caracter of the cab with their 3 ways crossover switch...slap, finger style, pick..you name it, it's never too harsh.I hate most of bullet tweeter or piezo..they sound like plastic to me, not this one!!

Reliability : 10
They are built like tank. I like Mesa, they give you cover when you buy any of their cabs! And believe me, it makes a big diference. It is still a small company and they don't let any one be a Mesa dealer, which tells you a lot.

I never had to deal with them...hope will never have too....but I'm sure they will be no problem at all.

Overall, if you are a gigging dude, and you want something portable, you got the right cabs right here. I keep them with the M-Pulse 600 in the trunk of my Nissan Sentra all the time, everything fit, you don't see anything and I'm always on gig in a record time!! Don't get me wrong, of course a bigger cab would sound bigger, but this is comparable to any 4x10 on the market when you're using 2. If you are one of those morons who neeD to use a Sansamp to distorted everything, well this is not for you. But if you are looking for a good solid BASS TONE, THIS IS IT, THANK YOU!!

Small 1x12 Bass speaker cabinet, Neodymium speaker and tweeter. It has an unusual 3 position crossover switch, and an L pad. It also features either 1/4" inputs, or Neutrik connectors. It's 8 ohms, and handles 300 watts rms. I'll be using this as a stand alone upright and electric cabinet for smaller rooms, and as the upper cabinet in a bi-amp rig on larger ones.

I was in a local music store closing out their line of Boogie cabinets, and got a killer deal on this. It was already setup to demo, so I tried it with a Yamaha 4 string bass, through a Hartke 3500 head. I had no intention of buying yet another speaker cabinet, as I have 9 cabinets now. After hearing it, I bought it. It has a very punchy, tight bottom end, and nice, pleasant top end. It's surprisingly loud for it's size, and easily filled the large room with bass. I deliberately turned off the compressor in the Hartke head to try and make it fart, and at quite a respectable volume level, it stayed tight with no woofing. I won't know 'till I take it to a gig how it compares to my beloved Avatar 1-12. The current (3-06) issue of Bass Player magazine has a positive review on this cabinet. But, that's not why I bought it. It simply is a great sounding cabinet.
I'll be using this as a stand alone upright and electric cabinet for smaller rooms, and as the upper cabinet in a bi-amp rig. I just tried my upright through my Acoustic Image Clarus head, and this cab, and it sounds wonderful- great, full lows, punch in the low mids, and not excessive natural sounding top end, what else can I say - if you need a 1-12, this is an excellent choice.

Looks like a seriously stout piece of gear, Mesa has a great reputation, and the construction and features of this cabinet seem to bear that out. I just got it, time will tell if it hold up.

Haven't had to deal with them yet, may never have to judging fron the looks of this thing.

I have an amazing amount of bass gear. I had no intention to buy another cab, but after hearing it, I had to! This is just a killer little 1-12 box! I have a feeling as I get older, I'll be using only this cabinet on a lot more gigs....it seems to be THAT good! I have only one complaint- a small one- it's the same one Bass Player had about it- it's a bit heavy for a 'neo' cabinet- but just listen to it, and you'll tolerate that. It weighs about the same as my Avatar 1-12, so no biggie here.
At the closeout price I paid, there's just no way I could even come close to replacing this. I'd like to have a 2-12 like this!
