Bought a pair used for $550.00 and it is the BEST investment I've ever made. Powering them with a Carver PM-600, with a Behringer V-Amp Pro pre( hate that thing, will be replaced soon!). These things will take what ever I through at them and keep asking for more. They like WATTAGE!!!! But as others have said these are HEAVY, I'll probably need a truss if I take both out for gigs!

Sound Quality : 10
Sound quality is great! Play blues, southern rock, metal, they just sound fantastic for it all!

Reliability : 10
Only had a couple weeks, but a friend has Boogie equip. that's 20+ years old and still going strong, so I have no doubt these will last.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Don't know, haven't dealt with them.

Overall Rating : No Opinion
If these were stolen, I would hunt down the jerks, beat them within an inch of their lives, wait for them to heal, and beat them again!

I only give it an 8 because well its only a cab and frankly mine doesnt have the tweeter (even though I wouldnt use it it would be nice)its an earlyer mesa boogie 4x10 with the old EVM speakers better sound but more weight and then the road case adds even more weight.

Sound Quality : 9
The cab sound very deep but also has the sound to push modern players with active basses insane with high end (if you dial it in that way)very punchy and loud but clear. I play with a peavey alphabass an all tube 150 watt bass head from the early 90s very decent head but sounds incredible through this cab again a tweeter would be nice on mine but the sound is amazing

Reliability : 9
this thing looks like you could throw it off a roof and it would survive (but I pity whoever has to lift it up there) its heavy but its a mesa if you have a problem they will solve it

Customer Support : 10
GREAT I called them to try and get a date on the cab they could not give me an exact date but could tell me that it was an older cab by the porting and size.

Overall Rating : 10
I have been playing for about 7 years december 2006 Ive had hartke amps and cabs, peavey heads and cabs, fender combos nothing compares to the sound of the mesa. If it was stolen I would murder for this cab again it is the only cab I can ever see having again but if it were stolen I would cry because im poor and it was a steal I feel bad for the guy that got rid of it because he had to of gotten no more then $200 out of it (Im familiar with the shops buying policy is all) When auditioning the cab I chose it over a crate 4x10, fender 4x10, 3 different ampeg 4x10s (it even outplayed the ampeg 8x10 I could hear the mesa over it nuff said) an SWR 4x10 hartke 2x15 and ashdown 4x10 I LOVE THIS CAB

This is one of the Road Ready 4-10 cabs of the Boogie Diesel Era circa 1994. This is one of their front ported "shallow" cabs. Very solid and the bit of being built into a road case is cool until you have to pick it up. The saving grace is the wheels are outstanding. I would give it a ten if it wasn't hernia city to deal with!

Sound Quality : 9
Really the cab does everything you want a 4-10 to do. Very tight and has a wonderful tone you can use for just about anything. Not as efficient as their "deep" model, but the sound it yields is marvelous. With a 400 Plus Boogie on top of it, there has always been enough power to kick it into submission.

Reliability : 10
Pert near indestructable. Run the hell out of it and no complaint. Extent of maintenance has been to wipe off club funk.

Customer Support : 10
Support is good, but they are so stinking reliable you would never need to call them!

Overall Rating : 7
Really, the tone is great, but it is such a hernia pig! I would consider a 2nd one used as they would sound real nice together, but the new Boogie bass cabinets are a lot lighter, sound great, are more efficient, and still reflect Boogie's design it to survive a nuke blast sensibility.

4 ten inch speakers, tweeter, tweeter atteunator knob, road case and removable locking cover, removable casters, single 1/4" input jack. Takes 600 watts @ 8 ohms.

Sound Quality : 10
This cab sounds great! It handles 600 watts at 8 ohms so you can really crank the sucka! It sounds very tight and punchy and you can boost the tweeter as much as you want or shut it all off (like I do) with the atteunator dial in the back. Its great its great its great.

I am using a Precision bass with this cab right now and I play mostly pickstyle with the occasional slapping and fingerstyle. The tweeter boost comes in handy when you slap, by the way!

Reliability : 10
The road case makes it very reliable. I have thrown this thing around quite a bit and its still in perfect working order. And I'm the third owner!!!

Customer Support : No Opinion
I haven't had to deal with Mesa/Boogie customer support. This cab is just too reliable!! :)

Overall Rating : 10
It rules. This is the last bass cab I will ever buy (except maybe for another RR 410 to stack on top of it!)

I can't say enough about how much this baby rules. Its solid as a tank and it does its job better than any cab I've played through by Ampeg, GK, SWR, or any other "mainstream" brand.
