Made in 95 by Marshall. A single channel 15 watt bass practise combo WITH A 10" SPEAKER, makes this a better sounding bass practice amp than the other small, cheap practice amps that are avaliable which only have rediculous 8" speakers, so no bottom end!!! A very basic amp, just Volume, Bass, Middle, Treble, Master, Headphone Out and On/Off switch. Celestion 10" speaker. Closed back. Sturdy cabinet, a bit heavier than a Marshall MG 15 DFX practice amp, but still quite light. Suprisingly loud for 15 watts, and has a good bottom end, not what you would expect from a 15 watt Marshall or Fender bass practice amp. Hight = 16", width = 15 ", depth 8". Suprisingly good for a practise amp. To get a BETTER low wattage lightweight PRACTICE amp you will have to buy a little Ashdown - for how much?

For what it is - a small practise amp, excellent. Very clean - 10" speaker!

Reliability : 10
No worries.

Marshall are good.

I play a Fender Jazz longscale through this amp. This is a handy practise amp that sounds like a bass amp should, not a farty little 8" speaker quacking like a distressed duck at louder volumes, but a smooth, deep bass. What more could you want or expect from a small, cheap 15 watt practise amp?

This Korean made bass amp has very few features. It has two inputs and a headphone jack and a 8 or 10 inch speaker. Around the house as a practice amp this has all the features and controls I need but when it competes with drums and a couple of guitars it's lack of sufficient power really shows.

Sound Quality : 7
Whatever the settings, this amp tends to sound dull, though when it was new the sound quite crisp. There isn't as much variety of sound as I would like. It distorts really badly at the higher volumes when playing low notes. However it is loud enough to play with a couple of others in a smallish room.

Reliability : 8
This amp is really durable and strongly built and has survived several knocks over. It has never needed to be taken in. However, I wouldn't depend on it outside a practice situation.

I purchased this amp as a practice amp and as an amp to learn on. It has done everything I have needed it to do reliably and that is why I would give it an 8 out of 10. For a beginner it makes a good and well priced bass amp to learn on, but after that you'll definitely need to upgrade to something more powerful.
