No idea of when this amp was made, or what the original specs were on it. Couldn't find any info online or on the Peavey website. I can tell you it has 1 - 18" and 2 - 10" speakers. I believe it is 200W rated, with 400W peak. 2 inputs on the back, so you can bi-amp or not.

With the mix of the 18 and the tens, it gives you some options. The 18 allows me to get a little better tone on the low B string than a 15 does. I guess due to more speaker cone area.

Since it's a Peavey, it's built to take abuse. This thing is old and heavy, but with casters on it, it's fairly easy to move around. Good solid cabinet with a tolex covering.

Every time I've ever dealt with Peavey customer support they've been great. I couldn't find any specs on this thing on their website, so I emailed them and had an answer back within 2 hours.

I play several different basses through this, fretless, fretted and 5-string. It's got the flexibility to get the sounds you want with all of them. I use this cab either stand-alone with a head, or sometimes as an extension cab to a combo amp. Either way, it rocks!
