Features : No Opinion
Probably made about the same time as my amp, it's certainly been more well-used. It's 175W RMS, 350W peak, with two 10" Sheffield cones and an attenuable compression tweeter horn. It's carpeted rather than Tolexed, so it holds up better and doesn't show wear as easily, but the carpet will pull out and start looking fuzzy (get yourself a lint shaver and it's like new in a few passes; be careful about eating too much of the carpet though). Very simple and straightforward cab.

Sound Quality : 7
I use this with the "matching" peavey 210TX combo; same idea but they give you the amp too. So, I have 4 10s, two individually-attenuable tweeters (I turn one off most of the time, but having two is useful sometimes) and 300W of "boomz".

I play mostly fingerstyle with a touch of slap, mostly rock genres but I'm getting into jazz grooves a little. My main basses are a Yamaha TRB five-stringer with dual soapbars and 3-band active, and a passive Mexi Jazz with DiMarzio Ultra Jazz pickups and independent tone controls. I also have a bone-stock Yamaha BB404 currently relegated to a backup bass, but is still a very capable bass with its own unique character, that I sometimes break out for more conservative gigs where the sunburst/white pearl Jazz looks too flashy. I have to say the rig as a whole puts out more power than I'll probably ever need, and sounds very good doing it. The tweeters do hiss a little at high volume, nothing objectionably bad for live work.

Watch the bass at high volume; the 10s do a surprisingly good job of reproducing the necessary frequencies (even down to the low B), but these Sheffield cones have a paper annulus and don't travel quite like the cones you find in a GK or MarkBass combo. That said, you can push these speakers quite far, even beyond breakup, with no ill effect.

Reliability : 10
I'm not planning on bringing a cab to a gig if i'm not gonna use it. That's why I like Peavey; they've had a reputation since they started of making gear that will go through hell, with a good sound at a decent price. It holds up here; the cab is very sturdy. If it broke i'd just unplug it and play through the 2 10s, and get the sound guy to turn me up a little.

Customer Support : 10
I've dealt with Peavey customer support, and they're very helpful. I haven't needed anything yet on this cab, but one of the speakers on the combo broke a speaker wire, and I sent it off to them and got a brand new speaker back in a week, and they even reimbursed shipping with a money order.

Overall Rating : 8
Overall, this has been a great little cab. It's more compact than the combo (for obvious reasons), and adds a lot of punch to the rig. considering I picked this one up for $100, shipped, I'm very happy with this purchase. If it got stolen, I'd probably look for the 115TVX with a Black Widow driver and have a more balanced rig, but there's no shortage of low end with this setup.

2 10s. 175 watts RMS. 4 ohm. 1 input. Adjustable level tweeter.

Sound Quality : 10
Active Hohner Steinberger 5-string. Playing in a blues band. Can get some tweeter hiss if you crank it (which I don't). Not an issue in most environments. I'm very pleased with the sound quality.

Reliability : 9
Used it for the first time last Saturday. Didn't bring a backup. Was pleased with the performance.

Don't know.

I've been playing for 40 years and mostly play guitar, but play bass in one band. If I blow the speakers, I'll replace them, probably with Carvins. The other reviewers use this cabinet with another. I did try it with a nice 15 cab and it was a nice combination, but the 2-10 cab alone was plenty for the blues band. It was bargain priced (used) at Guitar Center.

I think it was built in 2005. Not sure how to tell but is has the newer Peavey badge on the grill. It's front ported with two 10" Sheffield cones, and has a 1/4" jack with an L pad on the back to control the tweeter. Nothing out of the ordinary for a 210 cabinet.

I use this with a Peavey Bass Combo 115. It works very well with the 115. it compliments the single 15" in the combo well and compensates for the boomy character that the Combo 115 has as a stand alone. So far I'm very happy with this cabinet.

Sound Quality : 8
Good mids and high end. Tweeter hisses a little when turned up higg but no big deal in a live setting. I have heard much worse out of my Ampeg gear.

I use this in a variety of music styles, Cont. Christian Rock, Classic Rock, Alternative, and Punk and I get plenty of usable tones out of this cab along with the 115 combo and my Sanamp BDDI. It can run from very clean to a dirty overdrive without any problems. I run the Sansamp with a slight variation from the SVT setting all the time through the effects loop to give it a bit of tube emulation and I'm very happy with the tone I get. I never run it clean. Again I'm an Ampeg guy at heart and want that tone but can't really afford or need the pro level Ampeg gear. This is my compromize.

I use a Fender Passive Jazz w/ Seymore Duncun SJB II's and an Active Fender Jazz. I also run Active Ibanez SRX300 and an SRX 505 five- string through this set up.

No complaints here.

This is an fairly inexpensive cabinet an it's not in the same league as Aguilar, Bergatino, or Ampeg. It does offer very good performance and build quality for the price. I recomend it to anyone looking for a durable 210 cab who is on a budget.

Reliability : 10
My experience with Peavey gear has been very good as far as reliability goes. This cab should live up to the Peavey reputation.

I always avoided Peavey gear because it just seemed very utilitarian and well... honestly a bit ugly. I have got past all that and have learned to appreciate the reliability.

My Peavey gear has never let me down, my Ampeg gear has. I have given up some of my desire to have the cool Ampeg gear and go for something that is more likely to get me through the gig and save me some money.

Customer Support : 10
Havent had to use them.

Overall Rating : 8
I have been playing bass for a couple of years now. I have been a drummer for 22 years and I have played guitar of an on for about 20 years.

If it was stolen or lost I would buy another. It's insured so I guess State Farm will buy me another.

I don't kow what year this one was made, but i know it is around three years old. I got this because i needed a something small that I could use at practis, and small gigs, pluse it had to be 4ohms. Works well with my Acoustic 301 cab, and as a stand alone cabinet

Sound Quality : 9
Nice clean sound with more bass than I expected tweeter has a little hiss, but you really can't hear it with a band. Great as a stand alone.

Reliability : 10
I have not had it long so I'll have to gt back to you on the reliability, but I doknow that Peavey has a good rep for being reliable. It gets a 10 till it shows me diff.

Customer Support : 10
I have not delt with the company, and hope i don't have to. so I'll give it a 10 till the prove diff.

Overall Rating : 9
I just started playing again after a ten year lay off. I use this with a Acoustic 370 amp, and a 301 cab. I love that it is smaa enough to put in the back seat of my car without messing it up.

I don't know when it was made, but it looks pretty new.. as the other reviewer said, it has two 10" speakers and a tweeter with adjustable volume. It's ported on the front, and is 4ohm...

Pretty basic, but, heck, it's a speaker cab.. it makes noise :)

Sound Quality : 9
I've been using it with a 4x10 cab and a GK backline 600 amp, and this cab adds a ton of quality to the sound.. adds a lot of punch, a nice bit of bass, and the tweeter really opens up your sound.

It simply sounds good, and you can get it for dirt cheap. It sounds pretty good on its own too, if you wanted to use it for practicing with a smaller amp.

Reliability : 9
The speakers were hooked up with clips on the inside and one of them loosened up so it was making some unpleasant crackling noises, but a little bit of solder later and it was good as new!

Besides that, which was probably just an instance of bad luck (those little clips should be pretty damn reliable), the cab is a freaking tank. you could kill someone if it fell on them, practically, and it gives you a workout when you move it. BUT, the two handles on the sides are reasonably positioned so it's fairly well balanced, so while it weighs a lot, it's not that difficult to move it.

Customer Support : No Opinion
I've never had to deal with Peavey, so I don't know

Overall Rating : 10
For the price and the features it's a damn good deal, sounds great, looks pretty cool, and will add a lot to your rig. good stuff!

Unknown year 210 TVX. Probably in the last 5 years or so since it has the newer style Peavey nameplate on the grill. 300 watts peak, 175 watts RMS. 4 ohm. Decent features, Two 10" drivers, and a tweeter with separate adjustable volume control which is a big plus. I am using as an extension cab for a Crate BX-160 combo, with a 15" speaker. Only thing I would change is that I wish is was ported somewhere in the back.

Sound Quality : 8
My main bass is a Yamaha BB405...5-string passive with j/j config. I was orginally using the Crate combo by itself, the 15" really rumbled but it had no mid punch or high frequencies, and a lack of a tweeter didnt help. I found out the amp was 2 ohm stable and I could add an extension cab and get 220 watts out of it. So I went hunting for a 4 ohm 2x10. I found the 210 TVX while browsing my local guitar center for used cabs. I got it for a steal at $150.

The 2x10 is perfect with the 15". You get the deep bass of the 15" with the punch of the 10"s. Ive played the 2x10 TVX by itself, its decently loud and super punchy and clean. Doesnt have massive low end, but thats the deal with almost any 2x10 cab. A little hiss with the tweeter volume level past halfway, but thats expected. Peavey catches crap sometimes for making garage-band quality stuff in the past, but they have come a long way since those days. It wont be able to compete with the high end stuff like Eden or Genz Benz, but for the price you pay its a damn good cab with good tone.

Reliability : 10
Like all Peavey stuff, this is one tough piece of gear. Looks like it took a beating before I bought it, and I dont treat it very gently either. It often doubles as my seat or beer stand between songs. the cab is made of thick ass plywood, Could probably survive a hit from a small sledge hammer or a drop from a second floor window. Will easily survive the toughest rigors of live playing. Only bad thing is, you pay for this cab's toughness with its weight. Weighs a friggin ton for a 2x10 cab, about the same as my 1x15 combo amp...something around 60+ pounds.

Customer Support : 10
Peavey has the best customer service in the industry in my opinion. Very helpful people.

Overall Rating : 9
Ive been playing bass and guitar on the side for 5-6 years now, I own so much other assorted gear I wont even get into it. If it were lost/stolen, id probably look for another because it offers such carefree reliability.

Bottom line, a rock solid cab...and for the price you pay for it, very good tone and performance. If your budget is limited, Forget about shit like Behringer and other 'budget' gear, that stuff is for kids. Peavey makes the best lower-priced gear on the market, and they will take the rigors of live playing like a champ.
