There's not much to be expected from features on a cab. It's got an adjustable tweeter, which is nice. No speakon connections, though.

Also, it doesn't include casters. You have to buy/install them yourself, which sucks, since this thing is huge and painfully heavy. Things that weigh 100lbs should include casters.

Sound Quality : 8
It sounds pretttty good! Puts out quite a bit of volume and a lot of low end for a 410. However, to my ears, it's pretty mid-scooped. Sometimes, even though it's so loud, it's kind of hard to cut through the mix due to the lack of mids.

Reliability : 9
The tolex is pretty average tolex... it starts looking bad. However, if you take care of the tolex, this thing is a beast. It seems invincible to me. If you drop it on the floor, it will be fine. The floor will be broken, though.

Customer Support : No Opinion

It's pretty loud, pretty bassy, a bit mid-scooped, but the biggest problem (I didn't know where to put this) is that it is SO HEAVY. OH MY GOD. THIS CAB IS SO HEAVY. It's 102 lbs according to the website, and that's just disturbing. I'm told you can have two of the three be good: weight, price, and volume. Well, it's loud and cheap... so there you go, I guess. Seriously, though, this thing is heavy. It's like a big lead cube. Get casters and/or be really strong. Otherwise, it will be frustrating.

This is Peavey's touring series 410 cabinet, it's rated at 400 watts rms and around 700 peak. They offer it in 4 or 8 ohms, with a knob for adjusting the tweeter level, which I keep either low or off. It's so much better than the cabinets they made in the 80's. In fact, if that's the only gear you're familar with from Peavey, then it's time you got re-acquainted. They have built this cabinet to compete with higher end products on the market, and it can easily hold its ground against all of them.

I use a Carvin LB-70 with jazz style active pickups, and a Peavey Bam head. This cabinet sounds great with it. Hands down the best 410 cabinet I've ever used or owned. In the past I've had other Peavey 410 and Carvin 410 cabinets, and I've played through Hartke and Ampeg, but this one surpasses anything I've plugged into.
I've owned numerous basses in the past, just like everyone of you. You keep them for a while, trade them in for the flavor of the month, get another, and end up wishing you still had your first one. It's kinda like women with shoes.

Reliability : 10
It's Peavey, which means it's built like an Abrams tank. You couldn't hurt this thing if you tried. I use to gig on just my Carvin head & stack, and that was a gamble, but I figured if my 410 quit I'd just run through my 115. My Carvin head made me nervous a few times when it would quit for no reason, but I've never known a Peavey to quit without someone intentionally or unintentionally causing it.
At 96lbs you could take this thing into downtown Baghdad and use it to shield yourself from harm, AND still use it at a gig that same evening with no worries.

I've emailed Peavey in the past for questions on my instrument's age and serial numbers, and they have always gotten back to me in a very timely manner.

Their parts hotline number is always accessible, and usually they have every part in stock ready to ship in a day or two.

I've been playing since I was young and happy during the big hair and spadex days, during the grunge and Seattle sound, and then the late 90's, whatever the stage was considered. Now I'm just old and cynical, with my pants up to my chest, bitching about taxes and humidity... LOL
I'm no fool, I know that there is incredible gear out there for musicians with an endless supply of cash, ie aguilar, etc. However, for the rest of us who won't or can't spend $5000 on our bass stack, Peavey is the answer!!! I stand behind them and always have, even when it was real uncool to own Peavey products. Although, I'm out of the loop, maybe it is still uncool to acknowledge Peavey as a reputable manufacturer...LOL I've tried others, but always come back to Peavey.
This 410 cabinet will easily keep up with your guitarist's stack, your drummers heavy hands, and your singers ego, with room to spare. If you paired this with another 410 or 115, you would have a great bass stack.
BTW, keep your gym membership current, cause this thing ain't light.

2005 model, 4 x 10" Sheffield 4 ohm bass guitar speakers, 1 x 1" Phenolic dome horn tweeter with a 3,000 Hz passive crossover. The cabinet is ported in the front, made from 3/4" OSB, has an expanded metal grill, two large handles on each side and is covered with black tolex. The back panel has 2 parallel 1/4" phone jacks and an attenuator for the horn. Power rating is 350W continuous and 700W program. The efficiency is a SPL of 97db with 1 watt at 1 meter and the Box tuning frequency is 50 Hz.

Sound Quality : 8
I had this cabinet for about 3 days and used it with a Peavey Pro-500 Bass head and a Fender P-Bass. I had ordered it without ever hearing it and it arrived with cosmetic damage due to rough handling during shipping. This did not affect the sound but I wanted to return it never-the-less. But since the dealer did not have any others in stock and there would have been a 2 week waiting period for another I elected to purchase a Peavey 410 Pro cabinet that was more costly but available locally and I am glad I did. I had the chance to A/B the 2 cabinets side by side I am much happier with the 410 Pro as it is more efficient SPL of 106db with 1 watt at 1 meter (Loader) and has a warmer sound as the Box tuning frequency is 45 Hz (Deeper tone). Overall I did think the 410TVX was a good sounding cabinet for the money $489.99 where as the 410 Pro set me back $719.99. But after I heard the 410 Pro I had to have it.

Reliability : 10
I have used Peavey gear for years and reliability was the main reason that I have. They have gear to fit every budget and you can always find an authorized Peavey dealer or service center no matter where you are. Most everything they build is if nothing else built to take abuse and over the years they have come along way and are now leading the industry in many areas but for sure they lead in reliability.

Customer Support : 10
I have owned Peavey gear for the past 25 years and on the occasions when something did go wrong their customer support was exceptional!

Overall Rating : 8
Like I said this is a good cabinet for the money and if I hadn't had the funds available to afford the more expensive Peavey 410 Pro I would have probably bought another Peavey 410TVX.
