Made in the late 1990's I think. 1000W bridged @ 8 ohms, 500W/ch @ 4 ohms, tube and solid state pre-amps, built in crossover, limiter, graphic EQ, contour switch, balance control for hi/lo or left/right outputs, effect loop, and pre and post XLR out. 2 rack space unit weighs only 19lbs.

Tons of deep, articulate and versitile tones in a light weight unit. More SWR than ampeg in tone quality. Great transparent limiter built in but not switchable. Will handle any style of music that requires tons of power and tone shaping possibilities. I like it best with big cabs like 2x15 or 4x10.

Never had a problem other than a few loose screws. Peavey still has parts available.

Peavey has good parts and service department. Never had to deal with them for this amp but have had good experiences in the past.

I'm an old school Ampeg type player but this amp was good for big stages where an SVT just wasn't cutin it for me. This amp would be great for neo soul, funk, or a loud rock or reggae band. The only feature I miss on it is a tuner output but I use the effect send since I don't use effects.
