The 6T and 9B cabinets are what I'd call the "mid-line" of the PJB speaker enclosures. There are a few smaller, and a few larger. By calling them "mid-line" has nothing at all to do with quality, though. I'm running them with the M-500 amp head which I'm reviewing separately.
As the numbers imply, the cabs have 6 and 9 speakers - all being the wonderous 5" Pirhana model. These cabs are made in '05.
I mainly play hard rock and go for a sound that is brighter with some growl in it, but I know this equipment can do everything and more than you'll be looking for - but that's more for the amp review than the cabinets. These things are built like a tank. The 9B has the heaviest-duty casters on it I have ever seen. The front 2 lock in place, so the stack WILL NOT move around on you on stage. The chrome corners look like the highest quality plating known to man - and probably are. PJB cuts no corners on anything, ever. The cabs (and amp head)stack neatly, locking into place cleverly by metal indentations holding the strong rubber feet of the upper piece. On the backs, you'll find Speakon connectors - the industry standard. It probably deserves mention here that PJB makes their own cables as well, and that's what ought to be used with any PJB setup.
Oh yes, the cabs also do not weigh tons, so they are easy on the bad back. Metal handles are very comfy and placed just right. Covers protect the cabs from rain or whatever, but still have access holes for the handles.

I use both active and passive basses in the rig (info on my review on the M-500 amp). These speakers go insanely loud if need be. There is NEVER any "farting out" because it just cannot happen with 5" speakers. Also, I don't believe it is possible to blow the speakers because each is capable of handling 100 watts, so both cabs add up to 15 speakers, and the M-500 puts out 700 watts (which actually feels like double). Easy enough to figure the math.
The speakers are dead quiet when not playing, even at high volumes. I have gotten everything from the lowest, no brightness "thud" tones to the brightest high snaps and pops and it is always crystal clear.
Everyone probably wonders about the lows, since we're all used to having a 12", 15" or 18" for that. No need. It pushes the lowest lows just as well as the highest highs. Actually, once I heard the PJB equipment, it was almost impossible to try and think of going with a different unit. Yes, they are that good.

Reliability : 10
On reliability...only time will tell, of course - but these things are made to the highest possible standards. The company literally skimps on NOTHING. I believe that they put all their speakers through the test of 4 hours of top volume noise (forget if it is white or pink) before shipping them out. Nothing just rolls off an assembly line right into a box, and you can tell instantly.
I suppose (as with everything) there are component failures here and there, but it is hard to imagine with these cabinets.

Customer Support : 10
I have had to make a few calls with questions even though the manuals are very complete. Extra friendly as well as top-notch on knowledge. None of this involved anything with damage or repair - just me with questions popping up and needing advice on things. Best support of any company I have ever dealt with for any product, musical and other.

Overall Rating : 10
I have been a bassist for 25 years and have used everything as far as amps/speakers go. I know this is finally the end of the quest for "the best". It is hard to really describe in words when you come upon something that is so revolutionary. I would definitely replace if stolen. As I stated before, I can't even think of any amp out there that comes remotely close to doing the job of PJB. I love everything about the speaker cabinets. I can't even come up with anything I'd change or wish they had.
Make no mistake...the stuff is not inexpensive, but if you're dead serious about your bass playing, they're worth every cent.
