2009 Model. 450 watts. 2 channels, 5 band EQ fo reach channel, limiter, passive/active inputs, headphonem jack, send/return, tuner out, 2 Speakon cable connections, black tolex covers, beautiful chrome accents, angled face. I have this sitting on top of my PJB 8B cabinet and they look like they were made for each other. Fits like a glove and it looks very classy with the black and chrome accents.

Sound Quality : 10
I run this head out of a PJB 8B 4 ohm cabinet. It has plenty of power without breaking a sweat. Sound it nice and tight and punchy while being exceptionally clear. A very clean sound. I get lots of compliments on this amp from fellow musicians and audience members.

Reliability : 10
No issues so far and I don't expect any. PJB equipment is built to last. This head is built with very high quality parts without the weight. No backup is necessary IMO.

Customer Support : 10
My previous experience with PJB customer service has been excellent. E-mails and phone calls were replied with promptness. PJB is a company with integrity.

Overall Rating : 10
Been playing for over 20 years. Have tried the usual Ampeg, Fender and Markbass LKII heads. Even tried an Eden once. I sold my Markbass LMII to purchase this head. The sound and quality cannot be compared. Although the LMII was very light it felt cheap and tinny.

450W RMS, angled front panel, 2 channel preamp, 5 EQ per channel, limiter, headphone jack, spare fuse in it's own holder on the back of the amp, XLR direct output, send/return output/input, 2 Neutrix Speakon conections, passive/active inputs, 15.75 x 5.25 x 12.75, 33 lbs. Set of Allen keys came with the amp.

Sound Quality : 10
This is a very clean soundng amp with very clear tones. The 5 band EQ per channel is very versital as it allows me to use two basses at a gig while being able to vary the EQ for each separately. I use a PJB 8B neo cabinet with this amp and it produces fantastic tones. My band mates are just amazed with this set up and always comment on how good it sounds versus other bass amps they have experienced.

Reliability : 10
Haven't had it too long but it's built like a tank and only weighs only 33 lbs. The quality of the outer and inner hardware are just fantastic. Lots of chrome on the outside that stands out with the black tolex. It is a very nice looking piece of equipment.

Customer Support : 10
I have other PJB equipment and the customer support is fantastic. E-mails are responded to quickly and professionally.

Overall Rating : 10
I would not hesitiate to purchase this amp again if was stolen. One of the best amps I've ever used and I've played for a long time...over 30 years. I purchased a small piece if overnight luggage with wheels and a telescoping handle to transport this to gigs. It fits perfectly and I put my cables in one of the zippered pockets...it's now a breeze to move this. No lifting...just roll it around with ease...just like PJB cabinets.
