Features : 9
Made in 2004.
Solid state power, 30 watts (43 watts peak power).
8" 'Bad Dog' Washburn speaker. 2 bass reflex.
Carrying handle, about 8 kilograms of weight. Plywood body.
Front panel: active and passive input, volume knob, 3 band EQ, contour level knob, headphones output, power LED and standard circuit breaker - on/off switch.
Back panel is without any knobs or switches - only the fuse chamber.

The construction is sturdy. The only thing I'd change is the front grill - it allows to much dust (I live in an area with some dirt roads etc) inside. Bass reflex holes are to big and to shallow, allowing even more contamination inside the combo. Soon - since warranty expired - I'll install bass reflex tubes inside. The other thing that would be nice for this combo is some sort of kickback support - it would be better in my small room with lots of furniture to have the bass combo playing 'in my face'.
But, after all, for a combo of this size and wattage, it has everything you gonna need for home practice. Good and versatile, with quite a punch. But probably not enough to play with drums.

Sound Quality : 8
I used it with both Soviet-era heavily modified passive Polish bass called Defil Lotos and very modern Traben Neo.
Both basses sound good. The eq works quite well. You won't get every single preferred sound on this little guy, but it's actually a practice combo and this role it suits perfectly. Placed in a proper place in room, it delivers great tone.
It's enough for slap, chords, picking, tapping and any other technique.
Only noise you can get is when both contour and treble knobs are set to highest level. And when you're turning combo on/off since there's no delay on the circuit breaker.
Playing trough the modeling processors - Korg AX5B - goes well. Even heavy distortion effect is not making the combo sound like it's gonna explode. Small, 8" speaker however could probably be killed by to much input. But at normal input levels it delivers good response even with very fast playing.
But, as I mentioned before, there's to much free space for dust to enter the belly of this combo, so I need to clean it from time to time or it will begin to sound worse.

Reliability : 10
I can certainly depend on it. It never malfunctioned by itself. I don't have any backup, but I'm only practicing at home with it. For rehearsals and gigs I'd need something with more power.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Never needed to repair the combo, so I don't have an opinion.
It had 2 year warranty.

Overall Rating : 9
It's very nice practice combo, just with enough power to play at home or counter the noise of neighbor's drill. It's my only combo by now, although I'm going to look for something new, more powerful pretty soon. But this little guy is going to stay with me, so I could play at home without killing anyone with some kind of 600 watts monster. In a way, I'd like to have big, about 200-500 watts Randall bass amp, but there's not much of a choice.
If it was stolen or lost, I probably wouldn't buy it again, since I'm not very rich guy. But I'd hunt down the thief for stealing my combo - that's for sure. I have sentiment for this specific one. I wouldn't love new one as much.
