This amp was made in 2008. This is a self powered extension speaker (15") that can be used as a subwoofer or as a powered extension. I've found it to be an amazing piece of equipment. I've used it with a variety of amps, and it makes them all sound great. To use it, all you have to do is connect the "external out" from your amp to the input on the DBass 115x. Then the fun begins!

It is extremely clear, and can be used to increase the volume of the amp you are using, or to bring out the bass (there is a switch that allows it to be used as a subwoofer). It has extrememly clear sound -- all the way down to the lowest bass notes. It can take on almost any sound quality by dialing in settings from the master amp or preamp.

This is one of my favorite pieces of gear. I own way too much equipment, and this is one unit that stands out! I have been playing guitar and bass for 35 years and have music degrees. I have owned so many amps -- from vintage, to hand wired, to run of the mill. This is an extremely high quality unit.
