Four tens, 600 watts, spring loaded handles, tweeter with level control, metal grill, rear port hole, and locking plastic corners. Heavy and in the year I owned it, never ever showed one blemish (try doing that with an Ampeg Classic seris cab).

I bought this cab as a top to my SWR Bigfoot 2x12 cab. This cab handled high volume quite well. It didn't growl like a SVT. It was a vey clear cab. I traded it for the Goliath SR (which now that I think about it was ported more like the Goliath III) to "simplify" my life by only taking the 6x10. The main difference between the Goliath II and III (besides cosmetics) is the ports, the III is potted more like an Eden.

I've read more about blown speakers on SWR gear then any other company, but I've never had ANY problems with SWR cabs. This one is a bit heavier then other 4x10 cabs I've had, but those probably had cheaper drivers.

Great 4x10. If you find one used, I recomend it. The III's are quite popular too, but I don't think their all that much better. This cab would go great with an SWR SM 500 and Big Ben cab. Personally I prefer Ampeg for more rock orientater tone, but lately I've been getting back into the Eden sound (slightly warmer than SWR), but to each their own. If you're going for a more clear sound at high volumes with good frequency response, SWR might be the way to go.
