early to mid 90's. It's a one channel practice amp, with little to no features. ;) I have a half stack, and have this because i live in a townhouse, for practise. The tone is weak. very thin, with little to no bottom end. It is what it is, and for the price, it wasn't a *bad* buy, just not a good one.

I play just about everything, through a 4 string jazzbass and a fretless p bass. The amp buzzes a bit, but one again, for the price... It will not keep up with a drummer. Or another guitar, really.

It has been broken, but i tried really hard. I would never gig with it. Not if samick paid me. well, maybe if they paid me, but i'd think long and hard.

but a small fender, gk, or almost anything else over this. It was bought for me, and at a low price, so i can't complain about mine. But if you drop the cash one one, i'll bet you'll regret it.

Great. Also gives good sound with undistorted guitar very mellow.Pretty loud for 30 watts, specially if you pre-amp it heaps and put extra speakers on it.

I got this amp second hand from an idiot friend who opened it up while it was plugged in and stuck his finger in it, he thought it was dead so I bought it of him for ten bucks and put a new fuse in it and it works like a dream. This amp has been thrashed massively and it doesn't fail. I hooked up about 12 speakers to it and pre-amped it three times and then played for a few hours with our band and it didn't die.I used my guitar through it with distortion which it doesn't like very much and had a second guitar in the other input and it still works. I don't even have the case and proper speaker because my friend took them but I haul it round everywhere and use it as a backup amp with my 75 watt fender and it never fails. We keep seeing if we can blow it by pre-amping the shit out of it and linking heaps of speakers to it but it just keeps on going. This amp was the best thing I ever spent $10 on.

Fucking Excellent, ok it's to small to go gigging with, but great practice amp. It is a bass amp but it sounds great with an undistorted guitar going through it. If I could buy this new I would because it's great, I don't know about others but I can't kill mine no matter what tempreture or conditions it in, it just go's.
