2006 Mini 12 Light (12" cab front facing with tweeter). This was purchased to be a stand alone cabinet for my Clarus (400 watts) amp. My Schroeder is 4 ohms at 500 watts. This cabinet is the loudest, clearest cab I've played through and easily handles the low B even at high volume. This cab is reasonably priced and exceeds my expectations. The real gem in the transaction was Jorge Schroeder. This man is the most sincere and humble person I have met in the music equipment distribution industry. He personally rushed to make my cabinet and when I had a problem with it (the original cabinet) he exchanged it immediately and provide me an upgraded cabinet. He did this because I drove an hour to see him on a weekend (I have rehersal Mondays). Jorge did not have to offer me the upgrade and I did not ask for it. He did it because he cares and the cabinet I needed (a 4 ohm) was not readily available so he gave me the one he had that happened to be an upgrade. Is this man the best or what?? Folks, take it from me, Jorge is a man who cares about his customers and he is truly a rare breed now days.

Playing more than 20 years. Warwick Stage 1 and Gary Willis 5 string fretless. This cab is awesome because it is high quality but the man who stands behind the gear is the reason why you will see more of these cabinets as a common name soon.

Bought it used from a friend. Features have been covered by previous reviewers, mine is just the same. My cab is ?flight ready?, this feature is great since it protects the frontal metal grill and will maintain the cab looking as new for years to come.

Sound Quality : 10
This cabinet rocks!!! My main bass is a Lakland 55-02 (Bartolini equiped), I run the cab with a SVT4PRO, BBE sonic maximiser and Furman power conditioner. The tone I get from this cab is unreal, the sound is clear, punchy, extremely articulate and balanced. The projection of the sound is incredible, no matter were you stand, you will hear and feel every note with great detail. The titanium horn adds high register definition without any added noise, hiss or interference. This cab handles ALL the power my 4PRO delivers and ask for more. I have tried many other commercials brands (You know their names) and couldn?t find anything that comes close to this. My Ampeg PR410 is for sale now.

Reliability : No Opinion
Only a couple of weeks with it so can?t comment. It seems to be well constructed and sturdy.

Customer Support : 10
I have exchanged e-mails with Mr. Schroeder, he respond quickly and explains with detail every inquiry. He is devote to his art and backs 100% everything he sells.

Overall Rating : 10
I?ve been playing for 10 years, and honestly have to say this is the best cab I have used/tried so far. I would cry tears of blood if it is ever stolen and of course I would replace it with another Schroeder. Nothing come close; don?t waste time and money shopping from mayor manufacturers. Buy a Schroeder cab and you will never look back.

4 ohm version. See shroedercabinets.com for details.

Tone didn't meet my needs, but I could see this cab being perfect for a lot of people's tastes. Fantastic cab, great tone, not "my" tone. Had excellent driving, focused low end. Smooth horn that never got harsh no matter how high you turned it up. Best horn/crossover of any cab I've played. Lacking upper mids for my taste. A slapper could bring out the high mids, but that's not me. Great if you want powerful, focused low end, but not well rounded enough for me. If you want a deep, driving, accurate tone, this is your cab. I got the tone I wanted when combined with a brighter 210 or 112 cab, but I bought this hoping it could stand alone. Plenty loud enough on its own, just not "open" enough in tone for me. FYI, I play 4-strings exclusively, so can't comment on the low B, but I have no reason to believe it wouldn't sound great.

Reliability : No Opinion
Didn't own long enough to comment, but appeared VERY well built.

Customer Support : 10
Jorg makes you never want to deal with big companies again. Excellent personal service and response.

This cab would make a lot of low-enders do cartwheels. Just not what I was looking for. You may love it. I chose to go another direction. LOUD for such a little box. Very portable. If he ever comes out with a 1010 cab (one 10 forward facing, one angled) that would probably be my ticket. Maybe a 410 is in my future.

850W in a tiny 47lbs box could be the best feature of this cab.
It's well built, seems it can survive a direct hit from a small nuclear bomb, it's compact, it offers both Speakon and Locking 1\4" input, well placed handles, and its blue carpet looks...unusual, to say the least...

Sound Quality : 9
I'm using the cab with a Fodera Imperial and a AI Focus 1, and it does it all: funk, blues, jazz, latin.
I don't use any eq to get my sound, and with the 1210 the resulting sound is the best I've ever had.
It can compete easily with most of the 4x10 on the market, and sounds definitely bigger than its phisical size can suggest.
The only drawback, I've found the titanium horn a little too sweet, so Jorge suggested the optional selenium tweeter instead, I'm waiting for it.
It's not that this cab sounds dark, but I like a better edge on the note, and I dislike eqing the bass.
Otherwise, just about perfect...

Reliability : 10
I've bought the 1210 with the cover, I tightened the crossover panel screws that were slightly loose after an intercontineal flight, and with a 10 years warranty, I cannot think I'll have to worry about the cab...

Customer Support : 10
Perfect...I emailed Jorg so many times before and after the purchased, and he's ever been really fast into answering my questions, it's a really great guy to deal with

Overall Rating : 10
the price is including a really costly shipping, the cover and VAT and taxes here...but even so, this cab is competitively priced.
My last cab before this were a pair of Aguilar Gs112...the Schroeder can beat easily, more volume, more punch, and weight only a few more pounds than one of my previous cabs.
I think I'll have this cab forever, it's just so...great!!!
Well, with the new tweeter, obviously...

the other review really summed up the features quite thoroughly. the main thing for me with this cab aside from sound quality is the Weight!!!! It's a tonal, powerful beast that weighs under 50 pounds!!! you can't beat that!

Sound Quality : 10
My current set up is Peavey Cirrus 6 Redwood,Curbow 6 fretless,Ergo Stick Electric Upright, a Traynor YBA200 tube amplifier, and the 1210....Wow is all that I can say. These cabs are CRYSTAL CLEAR whether you are pushing 50 watts or 850 watts into them...the sound is FULL!!! I was really worried about not being able to hear myself because the cab is so low, but the tones cut through the air and arrive perfectly in my ear. The sound is very transparent and offers an audible quality unlike ANY cab I've ever used in my life!

Reliability : 10
NO BACK UP NEEDED!!! This thing is built like a TANK!

Customer Support : 10
Jorg is one of the greatest guys I've ever had the privilage of giving my money to...He replies to emails and phone calls VERY Quickly and is always extremely kind. He really cares about his cabs and his customers. The 10 Year warranty is very nice too!

Overall Rating : 10
This is THE best cab on the market! I can't wait to get another one! I have nothing but love for this company and this cab. It is the PERFECT bass cab, throw away your stacks like I did and get this 47 pound monster!!!!

I ordered mine with casters. That was an extra $26.00. This is a 47lb monster. It has one front loaded 12", one side/horn loaded 10" speaker, and a titaniam horn. It's rated at 850WRMS. 2 1/4" and 2 Speakon inputs. The cabinet is well made and uses top quality hardware.

Sound Quality : 10
I mainly play classic rock and some modern rock. My main bass is a Fender American Jazz loaded with active EMG's. I've used this cab with 2 amps: a GK 700RB and a Sansamp RBI/QSC PLX1602. It sounds great with both. When A/B'd against a GK 210RBH and a GK 115RBH it just blows away either cab as far as definition, clarity, low end. It's just a little more efficient than either cab.

Reliability : 10
Realy nothing to break unless I blow a speaker or horn or I drop it off a truck.

Customer Support : 10
Great. FedEx dropped the cab in shipping. Broke one metal handle. I had a new one in a few days.

Overall Rating : 10
The only thing I'm dissappointed about is that I don't have two 1210's.

Purchased this cab new from Jorg (www.schroedercabinets.com). 12" front fired woofer with 10" angled woofer and a very sweet but precise sounding titanium horn. Rated @ 850 Watts RMS @ 4ohm, this cab has a lot of balls.

Sound Quality : 10
I play in 2 working bands with different kind of styles, ranging from blues, jazz to rock. This cabinet does it all. It replace my Goliath 410, and it is at least as loud as the Goliath, but more defined sounding, and compact; simply the best soungin cabinet I've every played through; I'm in love.

Reliability : 10
I've been using it now for the past 2 months 4-5 times per week. Built like a tank and reliable as hell.

Customer Support : 10
Jorg is a great guy who treats his fellow bassists with respect. He called me personally as soon as he shipped the cabinet out, and even called me several times to make certain that the cabinet performs well and fits my needs. I am very impressed.

Overall Rating : 10
The above price included shipping to my door. Jorg is the most reliable guy I've ever come across. I called him several times before and after purchase and he responds to all my questions in kind. That man really cares, and this is hard to find in these days.

Brand new unique cabinet line made by a bassist for bassists. 850 Watts RMS with a very sweet titanium horn, 12" woofer with angled 10" woofer, dual 1/4" and dual speakon connectors, attenuator,
23Wx16Hx16D. Unbelievable cabinet, compact loud and defined.

Sound Quality : 10
I am using various 4 and 5 string fender Jazz basses, and this cabinet does it all. From blues/rock, funk, fusion to jazz. No noise coming from the titanium horn, unlike the harsh Fosters which I very dislike. This cabinet is loud as hell, can compete with most 4x10 cabinets out there on the market, and it's 1/2 the size of them. First I was worried that due to the compact size the sound would just "rattle" around my legs, but NO WAY. I can hear myself cleaner and more defined. I compared this cabinet with my Epifani, Bergantino and accu groove, and honestly have to say that this cab does it all, sounds rounder, uncolored and the balls it has, unbelievable.

Reliability : 10
Being a very busy working musician playing with known entertainers I need reliable equipment. This cabinet is one of the best out there. Attention to details all the way down to the locking nuts, which hold the woofers forever in place. I used it so far on more than 10 performances, and it holds up beautifully. Quite opposite, the more I play it the more I love it.

Customer Support : 10
Jorg Schroeder is a very reliable guy. He answers every email in super speed. Jorg offers a 10 year warranty on the cab to the original buyer. I am the proud owner of two 12/10s, one 4x10 and one 21012 cabinet and would not and could not do without them. See my other reviews.

Overall Rating : 10
I own other high end cabs, epifani 4x10, Bergantino 322, accu groove. Jorg's cabinets are in my opinion superior in sound, more compact, louder, and the price is unbelievable for such a craftsmanship. Jorg tests each and every cabinet personally before shipping them out. Also, he does not mass produce. It takes about 2-3 weeks to receive a new cabinet, but it's very well worth the wait. It might be very well the last cabinet I need.
