2007 model, solid state bass practice amp. manufactured by Samick Musical Instruments Co. under the "Silvertone" brand name. Features are: 3 Inputs - 1 High, 1 Low, 1 Mic; Master Volume, 4 Band EQ (Tone controls) - Low, High, Low-Mid, High-Mid; Separate Level Control for Mic Input; EFX. Loop Input; Headphones Input; 62" long electrical cord; 15 watts RMS/30 Peak through 1-8" speaker in a light weight but very solid sturdy cabinet with rugged protectors on each corner (8 total) and thick grill cloth.

Sound Quality : 8
All I have are coliseum-level amplifiers, and needed something MUCH smaller to practice through, so as not to keep disturbing the neighbors. I was looking for just a small cheap portable amp. with half-ass decent sound...and this amp. fits the bill nicely. Not much Tonal range from each EQ control, but that should be expected from a budget practice amp. Nice Deep bass response with no cabinet rattling noise, which is evident in Many smaller, cheaply constructed practice amps. This is a handy little amp. to throw up on the couch and practice with bands on TV, or place it near a radio and learn current hits....all without bothering the neighbors.

Reliability : 10
VERY well built and sturdy. I purchased this used 3 months ago, and it's still operating like new.

Customer Support : No Opinion
I have had no dealings with Silvertone / Samick, so I can't honestly comment in this section.

Overall Rating : 9
For what I paid ($50.00), this is a Great little amp., excellent for home practice. I don't know what it retails for new, but I've seen new ones Online selling for $79.99 to $109.99 (plus shipping), which I feel is slightly overpriced. A $40.00 to $50.00 range is more in step with the quality and craftsmanship of this amp.
