monster tube amp for bassists. Mine gives in excess of 160 watts,it's really loud. These amps are now rare and they don't build them like this anymore. This amp will blow away any transistor bass amp. I don't like transistor amps, they can sound very sterile compared to a good tube amp, especially one like this!

Sound Quality : 10
this amp will improve your sound and push you to keep improving. Great dynamics and presence of sound, but with none of that sterile element typical of transistor amps. Will give you an amazing bass sound, just like you hear on these 70's records!

Reliability : 9
Tube amps need a servicing, once in a few years. Other than that, you just need to change the tubes every year if you play often. But in fact, amps like this are MORE reliable than transistor amps. Seriously.
You just have to make sure that if the amp is on,a speaker is connected AT ALL TIMES ! This is essential for tube amps.
