I Just bought (or I should say stold) this cab recently. It is made by Sunn and I really don't know for sure what the model number is. It definately has a 1x12 and a 1x18 speakers in it. It runs at a mininum 4ohms. It has two inputs for bi-amped signals and two inputs for full range. It runs at a total 375 watts rms, although it says 700 watts peak. I believe the 1x12 is 150 watts and the 1x18 is 225 watts. This is definately near the weight of an 8x10 and that would be the only drawback, but if you like tone and I mean great tone then the weight is absolutely worth it. I believe this is probably manufactured in the 70's but I am not sure(doen't have date anywhere) I would use this amp for practice, stage, and definately studio! This is a very versatile cab, you can run just the 1x12 by itself for smaller venues or quiet listening.....and the 1x12 is unbelievable! Sounds....and I hate to say this because i am very picky on tone.....it sounds PERFECT!!! You can then plug in the 1x18 and LOOKOUT! Thunderous bottom end and girth.

I play mostly my Warwick Streamer Standard 5 string but have many other basses and they all sound good through this cab. I play everything except country and I am sure that would do well also. I mainly play Rock, Metal, Progressive, Jazz...with fingers, with a pick, and slap and pop. This cab could suit any style it just simply thumps without any noise whatsoever. I just had to post here about this cab, but first let me tell you why I bought it. I had a line 6 pod XT pedal and this cab was modeled and was my favorite even though modeling is not always right on or even close. But when I got this it's better than i thought. To put it simply, I have a Mesa Boogie 1x15, an Ampeg 4x10HLF, a Peavy Tvx 8x10 and an hartke that has eminence kappa pro tens int (By the way, sounds better than my Ampeg 4x10!)......I am getting rid of all these cabs now!!! I don't need them this is the ****!!!

Lets see, I have been playing for 22 years and have played literally everything there is to offer. I'll list them so you have an Idea how GOOOOOOD this cab is. Peavey 2x15 w/blackwidows, Ampeg 8x10, Ampeg 4x10HLF, Mesa Boogie 1x15 road warrior, Hartke 4.5 Xl w/ Hartke speaker, Another Hartke 4.5 Xl with Eminence Kappa Pro 10's, Fender 1x15, SWR 2x12(not workingmans), SWR 1x15 and 4x10 workingmans,Peavy TVX 8x10,Ampeg 1967 SB12 portflex w/jensen 1x12, SWR workingmans 1x12 combo and 1x15 combo,Eden 4x10 xlt,
Ok, so what amps have I played through this? Well, An Ampeg SVT, And Ampeg SVT350t combo I ran head only into it, Peavey BAM head, Line 6 PODxt live pedal as a preamp w/poweramp,Marshall 3201 head,SWR (American made) 4004 head, A Sansamp DI pedal/power amp, I think thats it....oh, almost forgot...I ran a small Vox guitar combo amp into it using the extra speaker out (think it's an AV30 something or other...reallly don't play guitar much) but I ran it into the 1x12 side of the cab and it sounded great!
Ok, so Overall I would HIGHLY recommend this cab to any and all...yes it is heaavy, but it's worth its weight belive me! I have dabbled in the Modern clean amps/cabs and also the Tubey growly amps/cabs and like I said in the begining....I am selling all of them...THIS IS THE CAB!!!!If you like that EV loaded Mesa Boogie 1x15 thumping sound...It"s Got It! If you like that 8x10 Ampeg or 4x10 punch...It's Got IT! THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS!
