It's pretty much a box with speakers in it. There are no castors, no tweeter, no carpet... but that's really ok. It does what it's supposed to do, and it sounds good doing it. All the components are very solid feeling. The cabs don't have castors, which makes them a bit of a pain to haul around, but they're only about 70 pounds, which isn't bad for a 4x10.

I run a Fender P-bass into a BOSS ME-50B, into a Kustom Groove1200 head, into one or two of these cabs, depending on the gig. I play a pretty wide range of music. My two main gigs are my metalcore band and my church. With my band, I tune CGCF, and with my church I'm in standard E.
I really dig the sound of these cabs. With my band, I go for an aggressive low-mid grind with some overdrive coming from the ME-50B, and with my church, I tend to go with a more mellow, deep sound. These cabs work great for my style, since they don't have a tweeter. If you've ever heard distortion through a tweeter, you'll know what I'm talking about. They have really good low end response, and they handle those low C's at high volumes without breaking a sweat. There are some times that I wish that they had a bit more roundness in the low end, but hey, it's a 4x10, what did I expect?
If you play a lot of slap, this probably isn't your cab. Without the tweeter, it doesn't have that zing that makes notes jump out, although they can be surprisingly bright sounding if you want. For rock or anything where you don't need that sizzle, though, they sound fantastic.

As far as functional reliability goes, I don't see anything happening to these cabs.
However, I do have a few gripes about the build.
The cabinet is covered in a not-so-durable paint, not carpet or tolex. It sctratches WAY too easily.
The plastic corners are a little on the flimsy side.
The grille, although it is very solid by itself, doesn't seem like it's anchored well.

Tech 21 seems to be really good in this regard.

I've been playing for almost 8 years. I've owned basses by MTD, Warwick, Hamer and Fender, and amps by Kustom, Ampeg and Crate.
If my cabs were stolen, I would probably get the same thing, although for the price of two B410s, there are a lot of other options, including a Mesa/Boogie 6x10, which would actually handle more power than the two 4x10s.
I do like the cab, but the paint and lack of castors disappointed me.

4x10 bass cabinet. 10" Eminence speakers, no tweeter. 8 ohm. 1/4 input and speakon connection. Handles 400 watts. Lighter than most 4x10's, but still heavy enough that you should have help when carrying it. Black 'carpet' covering, although the newer style cabs are a textured wood finish. Chrome plated metal grill which looks pretty flashy, but not to the point where its cheesy looking. What else do you expect from a speaker cabinet? Except maybe a beer holder or something...

I play with a Yamaha BB405 5 string, and a Peavey Fury from the 80's. Only effects I use are a Tech 21 Bass Driver DI. My amp is a Hartke HA3000 which is 300 watts, solid state.
Both basses really sing through this cabinet. My yamaha with j/j config has a new growl to it that I wasnt able to achieve with my old crappy rig. Playing fingerstyle, the notes are clear, punchy and defined. Despite the lack of a tweeter...this cab sounds great for slap/pop as well. The Eminence 10"s are really well voiced and pretty bright so a tweeter isnt really necessary. I dont play with a pick much, but the pick tone with this cab is one of the best ive ever heard...crisp and growly without any harshness. Handles the lower register of my 5 string without farting out or breaking up.
Since it sounds so good with my modest Hartke head, I can only imagine how godly a pair of these cabs would sound matched with a monster of a head like an Ampeg SVT...

Rock solid so far. Not much to go wrong with a speaker cabinet...

Ive been playing bass around 5-6 years. My old rig was a combo amp w/a Peavey 2x10 extension cab...and this rig blows it out of the water.
Overall a very tight, punchy cabinet. A great piece of gear.
