2007 Model 12 band eq 15" speaker combo 500watts rms with second 15" speaker cab.
built in valve drive circuit, 12band eq, dual band compressor and the most complicated effects loop circuit known to man (but it works well when you get your head round its complexity) all are remotely switchable with included foot switch and a handy mute feature great for stage use when switching basses and tuning etc.
I doubt there is any style of playing this amp would be less than superb for, its got such range thanks to the features listed above.
minor gripe is no headphone jack i knows its minor and lets face it you aint gonna carry round a 40kg bass combo just to use it for ur headphones but i'm sure it wouldnt have taken much to include it for those times when u cant make too much noice till the gig starts etc.
once its hugely powerful and once combined witht the optional second cab its perfect for any gig however huge.

i have a passive fender usa jazz bass - 60th annivery version and its crowls and thumps just as you want it too.
it has got a little bit of hiss at very low volume levels mainly when the switchable twetter is in the high setting but nithing unusal for this kinda of powerful amp.
the vavle drive offers lots of tonal varity when switched from vavle warmth to a crazy heavy distortion fuzz and everything in between.
the dual band compressor is great although i play finger style 90% of the time so dont use it too much.
basically what u'd expect from the best of the best.

no issues what so ever over 12months
5yr Warrenty and now trace are owned by the ultra reliable peavey i think i'll still be using this when i'm grey and old.
Made in the UK!!so build quailty is up there with the very best. unlike the formerly uk made ashdown who have given in to cheap forign labour. tut tut ashdown

almost perfect.
minor issues are lack of head phone jack and lack of castors although this can sometimes cause more problems than there worth.
i've been playing around 5years and will not buy anything other than trace from now on.
i tried everything else and i realy mean everything and the only thing that came close was the 1210 version of the same combo from trace! athough i did enjoy using a mashall vba 400 with a 8*12" cab but that was a touch OTT and had too much to go wrong with it and only one usable tone.
however it aint cheap with a lot of haggling i got the combo and the 2nd cab for ??1175 from PMT birmingham, UK.

One of the last ones made finished in vinyl rather than the more usual "carpet" This is 1X15 300w combo with a 12 band pre amp.
has
dual band compressor
Valve drive (via a 12ax7)
Harmonic emphisis (adds top end harmonics like an instant string change)
DI out (pre post eq)
A preshape in out
I also use the five way footswitch which gives control over Pre shape / valve drive / graphic in -out / effects loop / comp in - out but oddly not mute which needs another footswitch ?
It really does everything i need and you can easily set up a couple of sounds and switch em as by foot.

I use this wit a SEI Jazz five string a stingray and a dean fretless all of which work well. From nice and hi fi clean to a nasty growling drive that will take your ankles off ? For the pubs n clubs we play there is plenty of voloume I sometime use a BLX 130 combo for some top end pund but to be honest its not really reqd.

I have tried a lot of other gear in search of the "holy grail" Ashdowm Hartke Ampeg etc And OK and Amped 8x10 and an SVT blowws it away for rock power but the you need atruck to get it around and it won't do hi fi. For a versatile portable gigging combo for the typre of real gigs most of us do its ace
