Made in 1995.
The amp is versatile enough for me and the styles of music I play. Those styles are punk and ska.
one input...swichable active/passive. Effects loop. I use all the features.
I use this amp in people's basements and houses along with a drummer and two distorted guitars. It has more than enough power for me.
Input Gain, Output level, mute, XLR pre-eq/post-eq switchable output, switchable 7 band graphic equalizer (50, 100, 250, 500, 1k, 2k, and 5khz.), line out, earth lift, 2 preshape for classic Trace sound.
Sound Quality
:10
I am using it with a Washburn Precision and a Hamer Jazz bass. It suits my music style (punk and ska) and any other styles perfectly. The amp can give low bass sounds, high crystal-clear sounds, or the transparent unchanged natural sound. It varies greatly. The amp never distorts. EVER. EVER.
Reliability
:10
I can depend on it. I would use it on a gig without a backup. The amp has never broken down.
Customer Support
:No Opinion
I bought the amp used, so I've never dealt with the company.
Overall Rating
:10
I've been playing 3 years, and have an epiphone SG bass, a Washburn Precision, and a Hamer Cruise Jazz bass. If it were stolen or lost, I would definitely buy the same amp or another Trace Elliot bass amp. I love how it sounds, and I'm kind of influenced by glamour, so I like how the green glows in a blacklight. I compared it to Ampegs, Carvins, SWR, and just about every other company, but I chose this one because of the reputation, the appearance, and the great sound.

one input...swichable active/passive. Effects loop. NO headphone jack.
Features I wish it had are a compressor because I play inconsistently and make the amp spike. I use all the features.

I am using it with a Washburn Precision and a Hamer Jazz bass. It suits my music style (punk and ska) and any other styles perfectly. It is noisy only when the treble is increased enormously and through the line out and effects loop out. The amp can give low bass sounds, high crystal-clear sounds, or the transparent unchanged natural sound. It varies greatly. The amp never distorts. EVER. EVER.
